🚀 Major Milestone in Sustainable Taxiing at Schiphol! 🌍✈️ Smart Airport Systems is proud to see the first KLM passenger flight brought to the Polderbaan Runway using the Taxibot — a major step forward in reducing emissions and improving sustainability at Schiphol Airport! The Taxibot allows aircraft to taxi without running their engines, saving fuel and significantly cutting CO₂ emissions. This is part of a larger effort to make Schiphol quieter, cleaner, and more sustainable, aligning with our goal of reducing aviation's environmental impact. A huge thank you to Royal Schiphol Group, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, LVNL, and all the partners involved in making this vision a reality! This week’s GSE Expo Europe, Lisbon has been the perfect vehicle for TLD, Smart Airport Systems and AERO Specialties to showcase their latest products and innovations at this year’s key industry event. The sales team were impressed with the sheer volume of visitors to the stand and whilst it was a great opportunity to catch up with existing customers to discuss the latest GSE technology. However, it also allowed us to welcome new visitors to our ‘Alvest family’ and discuss our Leaner & Greener program - designed to benefit their operation whilst safeguarding the environment.
