🎓 When Florent Sciberras, Guillaume Perrot, and Anatole Blanc asked 300 high school students: “What’s your favorite way to learn?”, they realized something had to be done❗ And it shaped the strategic direction of their startup Revyze, which recently completed a major fundraising in seed-stage. 💰🚀 Revyze is kind of the “TikTok of Education”. A social media platform empowering high school students to assist each other and learn through user-generated content. With support from Incubateur HEC Paris, they leverage the HEC Paris network and ecosystem to field-test and refine their solution, which now boasts over 1M users❗ With a remarkable funding round few months ago, Revyze raised $6 million with backing from Speedinvest, Moonfire, and top-notch investors such as Ilkka Paananen (Supercell), Sebastian Knutsson & Riccardo Zacconi (King), Nickey Skarstad (Duolingo), Motier Ventures, and STATION F. Their goal? To create the world's leading social learning application, tailored for both #GenZ and #GenAlpha. 📲 🔗 From genesis to the first funding round, find out about the journey of Revyze in our interview with Florent: Link in comments. Imagine steering your business toward success by reversing the natural course of planning... 🔙 This is precisely what Etienne KRIEGER, professor at HEC Paris, advocates with the ingenious backward-planning approach. What is this method based on? It rethinks your strategic approach by starting with the ultimate goal: Your startup's exit. ➜🚪 Instead of navigating blindly, begin with your end destination to illuminate today's decisions. The benefits of this method: a clear and collective vision with all stakeholders, along with proactive preparation that enhances both flexibility and resilience. 👌 This strategic approach enables you to define a company profile and a growth rate tailored to your medium- or long-term objectives. Let's think about tomorrow. Redefine your path today. 🌍 Find out why and how to ‘reverse-engineer’ your startup’ exit, and the implications for venture-capital-backed startups and SMEs (link in comments). The solitude of leaders… 👀 A topic still rarely discussed… ❤️ Entrepreneur Nabil EL DIRANI speaks candidly about this issue in the third episode of the “Trajectoir’ESS” series. While his experiences in humanitarian work have accustomed him to managing crisis situations, he felt the weight of solitude when he assumed leadership of the SSE structure Les Relais solidaires. 🚑 “There I was, making decisions all by myself. I couldn't tell if they were right or wrong - I just needed an echo.” 🤝 By joining the Accélérateur ESS, he was able to connect with other leaders in the social and solidarity economy within his cohort, who shared similar experiences and challenges. From this spirit of solidarity, partnerships were born… 🌱 Watch the full interview, in partnership with Mediatico, le média de l’économie sociale et solidaire (Sub 🇫🇷 and 🇬🇧): https://lnkd.in/db52DeFF Région Île-de-France HEC Paris Sylvie Mariaud Isabel Yus Marguerite Filippini Tatjana Martic Isabelle Soeung Mockel Juliette Lompech Anne Vansteelant Herve Angelini Nathalie Riond Sarah-Noëlle Madani Anne Chéné Emma FRANCE #SocialEntrepreneurship #SSE #LearntoDare #HECParis #Makeithappen #MakeitBIG

More than ever, it’s critical to support entrepreneurship as a tool for building the future of our society, our cities, our communities. 👇 Spotlight on the French social entrepreneur Simon Laisney. 🔦 Since a decade, with Plateau Urbain, he's been transforming vacant urban spaces into temporary ecological, social, and creative hubs. About the impact❓The #SSE organization has revitalized 57 buildings across France, 49 in Région Île-de-France, providing space for over 200 organizations and impacting 2,000 daily visitors at the “Césure” structure alone. But these outcomes didn't happen overnight: Accélérateur ESS offered a major support, including training, networking, valuable coaching and mentoring sessions that continue to benefit him today. Because HEC Paris philosophy is about supporting one another along the way! (😉 HEC Prof. Michel Santi) And the adventure keep going! With the recent opening of "Jaurès", a new structure that can host 220 social and solidarity organizations, and plans to develop in La Défense, Paris. 🗼 🗞️ Learn more about his journey in comments below.
