Our Shareholders’ Nomination Board is proposing two new members for Outokumpu Board of Directors: Hilde Merete Aasheim and Olavi Huhtala. Hilde Merete Aasheim’s latest position as President and CEO of Hydro, a leading aluminium and renewable energy company from Norway. Olavi Huhtala is retiring from SSAB, a global steel company from Sweden, in January from his latest position as Head of SSAB Europe. It is also proposed that the current members of the Board of Directors Heinz Jörg Fuhrmann, Kari Jordan, Päivi Luostarinen, Jyrki Mäki-Kala, Petter Söderström, Pierre Vareille and Julia Woodhouse would be re-elected. The decision will be made in Outokumpu's next Annual General Meeting, which is planned to be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025. The Board of Directors will convene the meeting at a later stage.
