Marta P Estarellas, our CEO, just received the Premi FIDEM 2024 in the technology category from FIDEM - Fundació Internacional de la Dona Emprenedora. 🏆 This award celebrates Marta’s unwavering vision and dedication, not only for her big achievements in tech but for the way she cares deeply for her 52-person team, making her the embodiment of Qilimanjaro's core values. Her humble approach as a leader and her commitment to each person on the team make her an inspiring force and a role model to all the executives in the industry. 💜 Her story is a powerful reminder that challenges can lead to growth. Once “bad at math” and struggling in chemistry, she turned these difficulties into strengths, earning a master’s in quantum chemistry and later studying physics and computer science to break computational barriers. ✨ What a fantastic start to the week for Qilimanjaro in Lisbon! On Monday, Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech became the NextGen Tech Winner at the Innovation Radar Prize 2024, accepted by Marta P Estarellas. This recognition is a testament to the innovative work we’re doing in Quantum Computing, and it couldn’t have set a better tone for the rest of the week! I’ve just returned from an inspiring experience at Web Summit Lisbon, where I had the pleasure of representing Qilimanjaro, thanks to an invitation from the EIC and European Investment Bank (EIB). During two days in this incredible event, alongside over 70,000 attendees and countless startups, I explored fresh opportunities, new connections, and forward-thinking insights across the tech space. Although the Quantum Computing ecosystem is still emerging here, it was time well spent connecting with some truly talented individuals and mapping out exciting possibilities.
