I am feeling inspired after spending time in Poland with the local Google for Startups team. It was a jam packed week - here are my highlights: ⭐ During a roundtable discussion with Polish and Ukrainian founders in the Google for Startups community. The mark of a leader is the strength of the team. These founders are building incredible businesses to help solve issues in everything from energy to aviation to landmine removal – and still their shared concern focuses on how to build and support resilient teams. ⭐ We celebrated the 33 startups joining the next cohort of the Google for Startups Ukraine Support Fund. Their companies are tackling critical challenges head-on, from leveraging AI to combat disinformation and bolster cybersecurity to driving innovation in agriculture and finance. We’re so proud to support these startups as they contribute to Ukraine’s economic recovery and future growth. This is what we're focused on at #GrowWithGoogle – helping people get skills for jobs whether they are just starting out, switching careers, or advancing in their profession. ❤️ Most importantly, I had quality in-person time with the team and our partners across Google Poland. So great to see you Michal Kramarz, Ilona Kaleta, Mariama Boumanjal, Tymon Kokoszka, Aleksandra Garbala, Sofía Benjumea and a big thank you Agnieszka Hryniewicz-Bieniek for her full hearted leadership!

Karya had the incredible opportunity to present our work to Google CEO, Sundar Pichai. Google has been one of Karya’s most cherished partners, and through our conversation with Sundar, we got to highlight Karya’s unique focus on using AI to bring earning and learning opportunities to low-income communities across the Global South. A few months ago, Clearly became one of the first ten teams in Google’s program to receive $100K in funding. A month later, we had our first amazing event in Berlin, where we met the Google for Startups core team. One phrase from Tymon Kokoszka stayed with me: “Yes, you've got funding, but believe me, there's so much more behind it” Back then, I felt some skepticism: what could be more important than funding for a fast-growing startup? 😄 Now, months later, being part of the "Google family," I truly understand those words. There is something much more impactful than funding. We gained strategically vital insights and connections that, in the long run, are much more valuable. At a roundtable with Lisa Cohen Gevelber, Google's VP of Marketing, we discussed leadership. Receiving visionary advice from someone of her expertise feels priceless. Once again, the Google team organized a fantastic event, packed with essential knowledge and valuable connections. The first words we heard upon entering Google Campus were from Vlad Ostapovets, Senior Consuiltant at Google: “How are you? How can I be helpful?” OMG, this creates an incredible feeling of being backed by top specialists in a powerful global network. It gives us confidence and pure joy, surrounded by this level of support and by other strong teams in the program, eager to exchange insights and share their interest in our product. Then there are the unexpected, pleasant surprises of meeting close, talented people who are now part of Google’s team and are ready to help from the moment you walk in, without even asking. Ole N. is one of those. It’s now clear what they mean when they say “It’s in our DNA” I can hardly find the right words to express my gratitude to the Google team for this unbelievable level of support: Michal Kramarz Mariama Boumanjal Tymon Kokoszka Orest Bavda Kateryna Deineko and everyone else. And a special thanks to VC 1991, led by Viktor Gurskyi and Denis Gursky, Google’s partner in this program, whose guidance has been invaluable.
