🚀 Reflecting on an inspiring experience at #RiseUpSummit 2024! 🌟   Our team at A15 had a fantastic time connecting with the vibrant startup community and fellow investors during this year's event. We're grateful for the chance to see the vibrant ecosystem firsthand at #RiseUp2024. It is always exciting to make new connections and see the dynamic innovations emerging in our region.   On day 1, A15’s Bassem Raafat participated in the panel "Emerging Investment Trends: Navigating Opportunities in a Rapidly Changing Landscape", alongside Medea Nocentini from Global Ventures, Karim Abadir from BECO Capital, Amal Enan from 500 Global, Omar Khashaba from Algebra Ventures, and Romain (رومان) Assunção from Antler. The discussion offered insights into strategies for staying ahead of the curve, managing risk, and capitalizing on dynamic changes in the investment landscape.   On day 2, we were delighted to co-host the RiseUp VIP networking event alongside 500 Global, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Endeavor Egypt, Founders Factory Africa. The event was attended by 400+ founders and investors, creating a platform for more collaboration across the ecosystem.   Special thanks to Abdelhameed Sharara and the RiseUp team for organizing such a fantastic summit. Over the past decade, we have had the privilege of partnering with Hesham El-Beih and the outstanding team at Link Development. Resulting in the creation of over 700 direct jobs and the provision of services to customers in more than 24 countries, it has truly been an incredible journey, marked by dedication and unwavering commitment to excellence. This marks our 8th successful exit since the inception of our fund, a testament to our consistent track record in supporting innovative entrepreneurs create outliers and in realizing returns for our investors through the cycle. We firmly believe Beyon Solutions is an excellent strategic fit that will accelerate growth and create significant value. We are excited about the company’s future prospects and look forward to seeing the combined organizations achieve continued success going forward. We are very proud of Paymob for becoming the first international fintech to receive the Payment Service Provider (PSP) license by the Central Bank of Oman! The PSP license authorizes Paymob to accept and process online and in-store payments in Oman. With this new license, Paymob is continuing to deliver on its mission of enabling SMEs in the MENAP region to succeed in the digital economy.
