Carolina Fun Factory is looking for exceptional talent to fill Delivery Specialist positions.
This position has some flexibility and is a perfect position for a college student or someone wanting to work part-time weekends.
Basic qualifications of this position include:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 25 years of age (required for our leased vehicles)
• Valid state driver's license and clean driving record (you will be driving company vehicles)
• Ability to lift and move product such as inflatables, tables, chairs, games, etc.
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Friendly personality
• Ability to be self-governing
• Grit and determination
This position will require the ability to drive a 3/4 ton truck, and a 16-ft trailer combination, swing a hammer, kneel, bend, and interact with the public.
You must have a good driving record to be insurable under our company insurance policy and drive our trucks.
You must be able to pass a hair follicle drug test and have positive past employment references.
This position will require you to sometimes work alone and in a team situation.
There are times when delivering small inflatables you could work alone.
When delivering our larger units and water slides you will be provided with a helper.
This job requires physical labor with heavy lifting (usually you work with a helper), working in adverse weather conditions, as well as early morning and late nights, and occasionally working holidays.
We are hiring for 4 positions at this time, possibly more.
You will have the availability for a flexible schedule.
Example: You could work Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday, or choose to just work one of the three days.
There are also weekday shifts available from time to time.
The hourly schedule could be 6-8 hour shifts doing either pickup or delivery or 10 to 12-hour shifts each day if you choose to do both delivery and pickups.
We normally deliver the inflatables the day before or the day of the customer's event and pick up the inflatable the next day.
There are occasions that we will need to pick up the same day.
We are looking for polite individuals, that are customer service oriented, have strong communication skills, have a positive attitude, is a team player, does not mind hard work, and can function well under pressure.
Starting wage for this position is $15 per hour (could be higher base on experience) plus tips.
