Truck Driver

Public Works Position Profile: Are you a CDL licensed driver who enjoys outdoor work, operating in an independent environment? The County of Rockingham has a great opportunity for a safety-conscious, self-motivated roll-off truck driver.
This position is responsible for the operation of roll-off truck in picking up refuse containers at assigned sites within the County.
It also performs pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensures that proper maintenance is performed, and that equipment is in good working order.

Employment Status: Full-Time FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Experienced Required: Related experience in operation of this type of equipment Minimum Education: HS Diploma or GED Direct Supervisor: Recycling Supervisor Primary Work Location: Outdoors Physical Requirements: This is operative work requiring the exertion of up to and exceeding 50 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects.
