🎉 Time to celebrate Cinthya Mercedes Kamberi, our Senior Test and Release Manager, who has just reached her ten-year Kubaversary! Cinthya is part of a dedicated team at Kuba's office in Copenhagen, with whom she has built strong relationships. The team trusts her tenacious commitment to product quality, knowing she will not back down if the product's integrity is at stake. With her unwavering commitment, Cinthya ensures that Kuba's deliveries are of the highest quality, meet customers' expectations, and provide end-users with a seamless experience. She is also involved in the forthcoming inspector app (ACE). In her free time, Cinthya is an adventurous and avid traveller. She recently rode El Chepe Express to see Cooper Canyon in Mexico. She enjoys swimming with sharks, flying in hot air balloons, and parachuting. Her next adventure? Learning to ski. She is also passionate about languages. She has mastered Danish and Albanian and is currently learning Arabic. Drawing inspiration from the artist Jen Stark, our colleague Silke Mathiesen suggested using drip art to spell "Kuba" in large letters. 🌱 The team was divided into four groups, each focusing on one of the letters, showcasing each team's creativity and imagination. 🎨 Not only did we have a lot of fun, this unique project added a creative touch to our workspace and significantly improved our office culture. #CreativityInAction #TeamCollaboration #InspirationAtWork #TeamBuilding #DripArt #KubaDK #Lifeatkuba

🍺 🥾🏸🐝👾🚍 What do cider/beer tastings, hiking in the Himalayas, badminton, beekeeping, building an arcade machine from scratch, and traveling across the US by public transport all have in common? 🎤✨ Since 2019, they have all been the subjects of over fifty Open Mic sessions at Kuba’s Denmark office in Copenhagen. Open Mic is a regular Friday morning social event where we eat breakfast together, and a colleague shares a short presentation about something they are passionate about. Even during the pandemic, we held Open Mic sessions remotely when possible. Each participant receives a small trophy. In some cases, such as cider tasting and badminton, we organized activities outside office hours, such as brewery tours and a company badminton tournament. Open Mic is a fantastic way to connect with colleagues beyond work; every presentation is met with lots of positivity and curiosity. Kuba DK participated in Copenhagen's annual 5km DHL baton run (#DHLStafetten). Along with many other companies, we always field a team at this fun event, and it was a great evening, as usual, with a lively atmosphere. 'I should have taken the bus!' Our unique t-shirts were designed by Algirdas Jankauskas. The DHL Run is the world's largest event of its kind, with over 200,000 Danes participating over five days. At Kuba, we believe it is important to nurture new talent, so we are delighted to welcome Salar Salim. From 5 August, he will join us for a 12-week internship. This is part of his studies in Computer Science at Copenhagen Business Academy. Salar's primary interests lie in database modelling and software development. He is eager to apply his skills in a professional setting and will be a valuable addition to the Nexum backend team. Salar is a great cook and loves to read comic books.
