An independent Duke University study found that outpatient clinics could increase their number of cystoscopy consults by 12 to 21 per day with a single-use cystoscope as opposed to a reusable one. With single-use, 22 minutes were saved in total in categories such as preparation, transportation, sterilization and cleaning time. We are proud to announce that with the inclusion of bioplastic in our latest cystoscope, all our single-use endoscopes now feature bioplastic handles! This achievement is ahead of our 2025 goal and marks a significant milestone in our sustainability journey. The bioplastic we use are a mix of fossil-based feedstock and second generation biobased feedstock. It has a lower carbon footprint compared to traditional plastics, helping our customers on their way to reach their sustainability targets. We've just wrapped up our annual general meeting and with that fully rounded up our financial year 2023/24; a year marked by solid progress and strong momentum.
