The third panellist for our next meetup on Wednesday 4th December is Victoria Reinsch, Director Marketing at Formo. If you’ve been in the community for a while, you will know Vici from our summer meetup two years ago where gave a keynote speech about Formo’s mission to redefine dairy. 🐮 Since then, a lot has changed in the market and let’s face it - in the economy in general - but a few months ago they launched their Frischhain, animal-free cream cheese onto the German market via REWE. 🚀 Next week, on Wednesday 4th, Vici will explain to us how they did this, including how they pitched the product & concept to buyers and investors, and generated consumer awareness for the launch against the backdrop of the company’s mission to: ⬇️ reduce CO2 emissions 📈 design a more efficient food system 💧 reduce our water footprint and land use 🧀 create animal-free products If you would like to know about how Vici and her team did this, make sure you sign up for our next meetup on 4th December where you can try Formo’s innovative Frischhain for yourselves. 🎟️ Attendance is free as always. https://lu.ma/k3etuk03 #marketing #branding #foodtech #startup #berlin #networking #food

Just a few weeks to go until our next FoodHack event on Wednesday 4th December at Formo. Our second speaker is Selina Sinning, Behaviour Change Manager at WWF Germany. In #foodtech, it’s pretty easy to get lost within our bubble and make decisions based on the actions of our peers, so we’re reaching outside of our network for this topic and have asked Selina to contribute her insights on consumer behaviour from a more scientific perspective. 🧬🧪 Selina has a background in Economics & Psychology. At WWF Germany, she analyzes the psychological and economic drivers behind (un-)sustainable behaviors. Her work focuses on developing evidence-based strategies to encourage and enable sustainable choices, helping people and organizations make impactful shifts toward sustainability. ➡️ In addition, she co-leads Bescy's Environment Hub, a volunteer network that organizes public events to promote knowledge on applying behavioral science within the field of sustainability.🌳🧑🏻🏫 If you want to talk to Selina, get chatting with her during the event: https://lu.ma/k3etuk03 #marketing #branding #foodtech #startup #berlin #networking #food

Who’s ready for one more meetup before the year draws to a close? Team FoodHack Berlin is delighted to invite you to our fourth and final meetup of the year. We are returning to Formo’s office in Stralauer Allee on Wednesday, 4th December. 👏 This time the format will be a little different, and instead of giving our experts keynotes, we want to use the time to dive deep into our topic: "From Message to Movement: Communication Strategies for a Sustainable Future" 🎤 🔥 We'll start name-dropping the speakers from next week, so if there is something you want to hear about, drop your recommendations for topics or ask your burning questions in the comments. You’ll also be able to try some of the latest foodtech innovations Berlin has to offer, including Formo’s new Frischhain soft cheeses made via micro fermentation of koji protein for a cheese alternative that humans love. (P.S. you can get them in REWE!) 🧀 Who’s excited?? 😁 Secure your seat here: https://lu.ma/k3etuk03 Paul Steinhardt Arianna Spaggiari FoodHack Jordi Morales-Dalmau Maria Armigliato #marketing #branding #foodtech #startup #berlin #networking #food

⚠️Speaker update! ⚠️ Due to personal reasons we have unfortunately lost Katrin Schulze as one of our experts tomorrow evening. But not to worry, as we are really excited to announce Katharina Petereit, Managing Director of KitchenTown Berlin as our new keynote speaker! 👋 Katharina has a background in food technology and product development and started at KitchenTown 5 years ago. 🔬 Since then, she has helped set up the co-working and production space on Mollstrasse where we will be coming together on Wednesday. 🤗 She has also advised countless start-ups on product development and supported them throughout their exciting projects with corporates. On the other side, she draws on her years of expertise to teach corporates how they can become more innovative, including with the help of start-ups. She knows both worlds inside and out - including the obstacles that often lie in partnerships or collaboration! Thank you for stepping in Katharina Petereit and we look forward to hearing from you 👏 #foodtech #partnership #corporate #networking #jointventure #collaboration #foodhack #berlin

Team FoodHack Berlin is looking forward to seeing you all in two days' time at KitchenTown Berlin where startup x corporate matchmakers will be coming to tell you about how to plan the perfect partnership! One such expert is Katrin Schulze, Senior Innovation Manager at KitchenTown Berlin. 😁 Katrin has been working as an Innovation Manager for 2.5 years and is responsible for leading innovation projects with large corporations, as well as managing their corporate partnerships. In this role, she helps corporates connect with relevant startups for various strategic reasons. Prior to KitchenTown, Katrin worked at several food startups and also had the experience of founding her own startup in the beverage sector. After a stint in the corporate world at the Melitta Group, Katrin is now happy to be working at the intersection of startups and corporates, combining the best practices from both "worlds." 🌎 This will also be the focus of my presentation at the foodhack event: what are best practices in successfull collaboration between start-ups and corporates? How can start-ups prepare themselves and what do they need to be ready for? One of KitchenTown's own member startups, BettaFish, will also be coming with a sweet surprise! Known for their innovative seaweed-based fish alternatives, they're now introducing something truly special and … sweet. 👀 Discover the unexpected versatility of European seaweed on Wednesday by signing up here: https://lu.ma/x15j5h12 #foodhack #berlin #startups #networking #foodtech #food #jointventure #partnership #innovation #collaboration #accelerator #entrepreneurship
