Maximize the Potential of Artificial Intelligence for Installed Base Customers AI is in everyone's head and of course customers would like to benefit from it as well in grown landscapes. Key to success is (very obviously and not surprisingly) standardization: to take full advantage of #AI, companies should standardize their systems as much as possible. A "clean core" facilitates the integration and use of AI solutions. The closer your system is to the standard, the better you can use the existing AI functions. But, how to get there and where to find help from SAP?   New implementation and transformation: With a new implementation, you have the option of keeping your system "clean" from the outset. For existing systems, it is important to become as clean as possible in order to maximize connectivity and the use of AI. But not always customers have the ability, willingness and business support for a new implementation. So, how to effectively clean a system that is coming from a system conversion. Here #RISE with SAP can come into the picture. With the migration and modernization offerings of RISE with SAP we take customers by the hand and lead them actively through the steps to come to a clean core, no matter if coming in with an old ECC system or already with an S/4HANA system. How? With the clean core dashboard, customers get a KPI driven insight on where they are with regards to clean core. With the Enterprise architecture support, we help them to navigate into a clean and lean system setup. Cloud ALM and the connected quality gates for the implementation identify the important milestones on the way to the clean and lean implementation. Last but not least, the new #Joule Consultant "knows all answers" and the AI supported code generation will help to reduce old, non-conform custom code. In addition, our valued Partners have the opportunity to benefit significantly. If a lot of custom code is available, partners can help to define, develop or adapt data models. This ensures that business AI expertise is used effectively.   At the #SAPPHIRE conference, SAP showed how important it is to take system transformation seriously. The possibilities offered by AI are immense, but to fully exploit them, systems need to be kept as standardized and clean as possible.

While the SAP TechEd news were mostly about SAP Business AI and SAP Business Technology Platform, it’s easy to overlook all the #AI innovations we shipped in Q3, embedded in our cloud applications.    One quarter ahead of our roadmap, we now offer more than 100 high-value generative AI capabilities that are ready to use out-of-the-box across SAP’s cloud applications. From navigating regulatory challenges, to addressing complex HR policy questions, to generating comprehensive sustainability reports, SAP Business AI capabilities are driving real business value for our customers.    Some highlights from the innovations released in the past quarter include:     🔷 SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition has a flurry of AI-assisted improvements, from smart summaries and filters to natural language explanations of asset depreciation as well as accelerating your financial close. In addition, Joule is now generally available in SAP S/4HANA Cloud private edition. 🔷 In Supply Chain, conversational search features in SAP Product Lifecycle Management, SAP Integrated Business Planning for supply chain, and SAP Asset Performance Management allow users to perform informal searches more efficiently and access information more easily. 🔷 For e-commerce, marketing, sales, and service teams the SAP CX AI Toolkit offers an extensive and adaptable AI solution that assists in simplifying content creation tasks and analyzing data from throughout the organization. 🔷 Sustainability experts can now automate AI-enabled ESG reports, reducing the time needed to collect relevant ESG metrics manually from 30 minutes to 30 seconds, building on ESG or own report templates and using the data available in SAP Sustainability Control Tower. 🔷 SAP Signavio offers AI-assisted process recommender and AI-assisted performance indicator recommender features, which can provide preconfigured process models and quick recommendations on performance indicators. The new AI-assisted process analyzer capability allows users to ask questions in natural language and receive immediate insights, democratizing process mining and empowering non-technical users to conduct deep analysis.   While we’re incredibly excited about what we can offer customers today, there’s so much more to come still this year and beyond. SAP are in the #business of #businesstransformation and our Intelligent Enterprise Suite build on a common Business Technology Platform and common AI Platform is the key building block. But the acceleration in #digital is because the lines between front office applications in #customerexperience and back office applications like #finance, #HR and #supplychain are blurring quickly.
