We judge ourselves by our intentions while others judge us by their perception.    Communication gaps knock trust and builds tensions.   It happens all too often: > You go in with your perspective to move forward together. > But unintentionally create walls between each other instead. The most furstrating part? ...you would complement each others differences brilliantly together without those walls.   ✔️ If you're someone who is highly Outcome-Focused, you may think you're driving the team towards achieving goals efficiently by being tough, logical or competitive. Maybe even all three of those qualities. When you express them in tune with the preferences and personal styles of the people around you, you probably are using those qualities as effective strengths. But what happens when you overplay them?   ❌ Your teammates may instead see you being so willing to challenge and push for excellence that you place objective goals too far ahead strengthening your crucial relationships. You may feel tough, logical and competitive in yourself. But they may see you as seeking conflict, winning at all costs or being argumentative.    This gap can cause a lot of confusion, frustration and resentment that can do quite the opposite of helping to achieve goals.   Self-awareness is more than just understanding yourself better.   It's understanding how others perceive you through their own lens.
