#Transformation #Employees #Future #LEP Today I stumbled across an article by HR influencer Cawa Younosi, one of the most innovative minds on the HR scene and the face of the New Work work culture. He stated that even contemporary working environment doesn't sound so difficult at first. The reality is often different. Why is that: The stock market generally favours financial KPIs as a key performance indicator more than employee satisfaction. The current economic climate presents significant challenges for the economy as a whole. While the future may be uncertain, it is important to consider the long-term implications of making personnel cuts now. Alienating the core workforce may seem like a short-term solution, but it could lead to difficulties in retaining talent when the tide has turned. In light of the current economic challenges, leading companies are striving to maintain employee loyalty by offering retraining and upskilling opportunities. An example of an employer who walks the talk. 🚶🏼 🍍☕Simon Mader often posts about employers focusing on what they can extract from their team and not what they can offer (sad that he has to state the obvious - the free coffee and fruit basket just ain't cutting it, but that's another topic for another day). 🧠It looks to me from the outside that this employee-focused, mindset has infused the entire business culture at ADBAKER with coolness and Mehrwert. ❓After looking through the open positions, I can only see two points that should always be includiert...if they're not already secret special bonuses ;) 🤔Can you guess what they might be? 🥨🎨So if you speak German, are a creative type, and want to work in/near Germany's awesomest city - check out their openings. Projects like preDIA - Diabetes Virtual Care of the Future Health Lab and partners are doing exactly that, while centering their work on high-risk populations. The introduction of new medical therapies represents major challenges for healthcare providers such as hospitals or medical practices. Often, there is insufficient information about how these innovations will affect internal processes and, consequently, personnel resources. Therefore, necessary resources can only be planned with difficulty, and some of these questions can only be partially answered: 🔹 Which new drugs will come to market in the near future? 🔹 What will the additional costs be? Can other costs be saved to compensate? 🔹 Are investments in infrastructure necessary? 🔹 Are there enough personnel resources to apply the new therapy to all eligible patients? 🔹 What information would be necessary to estimate whether and how innovative therapies will impact internal processes and resources? 🔹 How can healthcare providers prepare for innovative therapies and reduce planning risks?   Bjoern Grob, partner at the Swiss consulting company HEMAP AG, and I addressed these questions in a paper published in the current issue of ÖKZ magazine. The first project that gets all my attention focuses on Commercial Excellence in the pharmaceutical industry. As a cancer survivor, this has been both exciting and encouraging for me. 🎀 The innovation being driven by new technology even in its various intricate regulatory restriction, is truly astonishing. The future promises a more integrated healthcare system. I strongly believe in incorporating more holistic approaches into #healthcare. A #DigitalTwin could change how we think about next best actions in a way that makes sense for the industry and is the best for the patient. Bringing conversations like this to the forefront, especially with experts from #Grünenthal, #Pfzier, #Bayer and other pace setters in this industry, is very enlightening. #GenerativeAI, makes me more confident than ever that there is a better way to do things. This is a great step forward in getting to understand those limitations and possibilities. Looking forward to learning more and onboarding great minds!

Myopia (short-sightedness) is a visual defect (refractive error) in which one sees blurred in the distance (e.g. when watching television, on a blackboard or on traffic signs). Nearby vision is usually retained (e.g. when reading, using tablets and mobile phones).Short-sightedness is related to the increasing duration of work at short distances. Nowadays, children are exposed to many activities at a short distance from a young age, which increases the risk of myopia. Short-sightedness can be genetically predisposed. If one parent is nearsighted, the risk of the child developing myopia increases by 3 times. With two short-sighted parents, the risk can increase by 6 times. Severe myopia can increase the risk of serious eye disease in adulthood, such as Myopic macular degeneration, Retinal detachment, Glaucoma and Cataracts. 🤝 Feedback is a gift. It is an offer. Thanks for the great post, Nicole Kopp. The intentions of feedback should be genuine and well intended and (can) serve continuous learning, improving collaboration and showing appreciation. It helps performance. This is why "non violent communication" is a useful tool. Feedback can be situational/ad hoc or comprehensive (in fixed intervals, retrospective, in the group), and both is highly recommended. Healthy feedback culture is also a basis for high performing teams. Genuine Feedback requires psychological safety. And trust. And vice versa. They are a sign of reliability. They improve structure and clarity and purpose. But beware: Feedback can sometimes be the opposite, too, depending on the culture - not being well intended, not having "growth" for the recipient in mind, being dismissive and judging, serving rather categorization (performance feedbacks are often coupled with salary & bonus discussions...) How often do you give and receive feedback? What are your communication tipps and tricks? This is a great project led by Infor Healthcare Cloverleaf partner Health-Comm GmbH in Germany. A hospital group there is utilizing our FHIR-Bridge product to capture healthcare data in our FHIR Server, creating a clinical data repository outside the EMR. This approach has many advantages: - HL7 v2 data is ubiquitous and routed through #Cloverleaf anyway - capturing clinical data and converting into FHIR resources with our FHIR Bridge is seamless - in a FHIR Server, data resources can be organized in deduplicated longitudinal patient records, for example for care gap detection or other types of analyses, independent of the capabilities of the EMR. - if data is captured from different EMRs, it can be normalized, - PHI can be removed with our de-identification add-on, - data could be used by APIs, fo example for patient access!
