Thrilled to finally experience the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management Spirit! 🚀 After meeting so many amazing founders from Berlin & Germany who have graduated from WHU, it was just about time to check it out myself. Now that I’ve experienced the atmosphere IdeaLab! - WHU Founders' Conference, I can fully understand why it is a globally top-ranked institution for entrepreneurship. Huge respect to the students - such as Jan-Philipp Groth - for organizing such a fantastic event. Thanks to the great speakers like Michael Brehm, Markus Pflitsch, Daniel Jung, Felix Haas, Henry Hildebrandt, Raphael Steil and the very unique keynote of Florian Homm. 💔 #WHU-Heartbroken going back to #TUM - My Impressions of the "elite university" Many of us have heard of the famous "#WHUSpirit", but what exactly is it? 🤔 For me, it felt like being at a large, dynamic boarding school where students manage their own campus life. From organizing events like IdeaLab! - WHU Founders' Conference for hundreds of guests to knowing each other personally, WHU students are a tight-knit community that builds deep, trusting relationships that will last forever. Everyone helps each other doesn't matter who they are. I loved being surrounded by ambitious students who want to enter the world of finance, consulting, and especially entrepreneurship. 🤝 A huge thank you to my host (Max) for letting me stay with you, despite us never meeting before! Also a specialty of WHU's community.🏡 💡 I also had the opportunity to participate in their #hackathon (Ideahack!) and pitch it on the IdeaLab! stage. Thank you to the amazing organizers at Mitja & Christopher, and my DealClub. team Simon, Lucas, Niklas & Lenny🎤 In the end, we were thrilled to win the special >>QPLIX | Wealth Management Software Award<< (Philip Schäfer) for the best implementable solution with a clear business case. 🏆 I absolutely loved our teamwork! 🙌 And yes, I learned that with only 3 hours of sleep, you can still perform… though only in the short term! 😅💤 I want to express my gratitude to the entire WHU community for welcoming me and all the other students to your campus life. I had the privilege of being the moderator for IdeaLab! - WHU Founders' Conference! over the last 2 days. A great line-up of speakers (Michael Brehm, Jochen Schwill, Florian Homm, Raphael Steil to name but a few), inspiring insights from content creators (Daniel Jung, Henry Hildebrandt and Jan-Philipp Jäckel) and live podcast creation (Felix Haas and Patrick Haede) as well as two fantastic pitch battles  - all this contributed to making this conference a great event!    I particularly enjoyed the panels I hosted on AI & VC (with Marisa Yasmin Krummrich, Leon Buchholz and Niclas Englert) and the markets in Asia (with Daniela Bartscher-Herold and Damian Maib) as well as the fireside chat with Markus Pflitsch on quantum computing. But what was most impressive to me were the students from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management! Mitja Strunden and his team have perfectly organized and, when needed, masterfully improvised everything and were always on hand with help, advice and ideas (special thanks for moderator support to Benedikt Fleischhauer and Amélie von Redecker). It feels like all WHU students are actively involved around the clock: that's what makes the unique vibe of Idealab! Congratulations on this outstanding achievement, and keep up the good work!
