As we reflect on #WomensHistoryMonth it's crucial to think about what #Inclusion truly means in our everyday lives, extending our focus far beyond the month of March. 👉 When we notice the absence of women, we need to ask why! 👉 Why invisible barriers still exist and what we can do to dismantle them? 👉 In the face of biased behaviour, we must speak up and stand up for what's right. 👉 Fair treatment isn't negotiable. It's within our accountability to advocate for inclusion of everyone. So, what does practicing inclusion mean in our daily interactions? How can we spark conversations at work that challenge unfair stereotypes and biases and proactively build more inclusive environment? Last week at wefox we discussed strategies for initiating discussions in the workplace that confront unjust stereotypes and biases during a global workshop. Initiating change begins with each of us. We can set the tone, create a safe space for dialogue, actively listen and stay curious! And what can we do today? Reflect on one actionable step to take the next time we encounter biased behaviour.
