Am Ende einer für die maritime Branche durchaus noch einmal bewegten Woche ist heute die letzte Ausgabe des Jahres von „Schiff&Hafen Kompakt“ erschienen - unter anderem mit einem Exklusivinterview mit dem Maritimen Koordinator der Bundesregierung Dieter Janecek, der auf seine ebenso bewegte Amtszeit zurück- und die Perspektiven für die maritime Industrie vorausschaut. Damit schließen wir den ersten Jahrgang von Schiff&Hafen Kompakt ab, nachdem wir unser Portfolio zu Beginn des Jahres um dieses zweiwöchentliche E-Paper erweitert haben. Mit dem Jubiläum „75 Jahre Schiff&Hafen“, den beiden runderneuerten Websites von Schiff&Hafen sowie Ship&Offshore, Ship and Offshore Repair Journal / Ship Repair News und New Ships und natürlich unserem umfangreichen Programm zur SMM war es für uns auch insgesamt ein bewegtes Jahr, an dessen Ende wir uns bei unseren Partnern, Leserinnen und Lesern, Kunden und Mitstreitern für die einmal mehr tolle Zusammenarbeit bedanken! Auf ein Neues in 2025 …

Ein Dreivierteljahrhundert: In diesem Jahr feiern wir 75 Jahre Schiff&Hafen! In der aktuellen November-Ausgabe von Schiff&Hafen würdigen wir das Jubiläum mit Stimmen aus der Branche und einem Überblick über die Meilensteine der Publikation. As the calendar would have it, Schiff&Hafen is being published in a double pack these days - to provide our subscribers with comprehensive, but precisely tailored information: In addition to a detailed follow-up report on the Schiff&Hafen conference Maritime 4.0, the July 2024 issue of the magazine also features scientific articles on a digital assistance system for commissioning ships, the combustion properties of ammonia as a future ship fuel and the forecasting of emissions in the design phase of ships, among other topics. Since this year, Schiff&Hafen Kompakt has supplemented the magazine as a fortnightly e-paper for quick and up-to-date information. For today's issue, Editor-in-Chief Kathrin Lau spoke to MMG Managing Director Lars Greitsch and Dr.-Ing. Georg Eljardt, Senior Director Fleet Innovation & Technology at Hapag Lloyd, about fuel savings through optimised propellers.
