Taking the helm at the close of 2022, Seefried navigated the company through a challenging period marked by financial uncertainty, culminating in the need to file for insolvency. Seefried exhibited unwavering commitment and strategic insight in addressing these challenges. His efforts resulted in increased transparency in financial matters and the successful execution of the insolvency process. Notably, Seefried orchestrated the development and implementation of a comprehensive restructuring plan, complemented by a refined business strategy. The culmination of these initiatives paved the way for the successful acquisition of PHOENIX Armaturenwerke GmbH by Valvosider srl. Post-acquisition, Seefried continued to contribute significantly by implementing measures to enhance operational efficiency, resulting in the company's recent positive performance indicators. These initiatives have borne fruit, with the company now showcasing its first positive results. Customers, once hesitant, have regained confidence, leading to a resurgence in orders and a reaffirmed faith in the company's capabilities. As the company transitions under new ownership with Valvosider, Seefried gracefully hands over the reins of PHOENIX Armaturenwerke GmbH to the Moretta family. His continued involvement in a consulting role underscores his commitment to the ongoing success and growth of the company. Thorsten Seefried's tenure as interim-CEO has left an enduring legacy of resilience, strategic vision, and transformative leadership at PHOENIX Armaturenwerke GmbH.
