🏆 With our "Atrium", we created a smart meeting place and lounge for our employees and guests at our headquarters in Bad Münder some time ago - the successful mix of multi-functionality, aesthetics and atmosphere has quickly made the Atrium the new "heart" of our location.   Now the atrium has even attracted international attention: It was recently awarded the world-renowned A' Design Award in bronze in the "Interior Space and Exhibition Design" category!   We are delighted that the jury also liked the harmonious, sustainable and modern implementation of our ideas and visions of a multi-functional space for events, meetings, new work and the like, which is also used as a place for encounters, exchange and creative inspiration.   💡 By the way: to ensure optimum acoustics in our atrium, exactly 75,000 holes of different sizes were drilled into the new wooden panels under the ceiling and the 210 LED lamps also help with sound insulation: they have a special ribbed surface to disperse the sound. 😊 https://lnkd.in/esNjszzy

🤩 We had the pleasure of welcoming Sebastian Lechner to our company. As a member of the Lower Saxony State Parliament, Chairman of the CDU parliamentary group, and CDU State Chairman for Lower Saxony, digitalization is a key focus on his agenda, and he was eager to discuss it with us. Sebastian Lechner visited us in Bad Münder for the first time, taking the opportunity to learn more about broadband communication during a tour. 🏫 The vocational college in Rinteln includes the basics of radio technology in the curriculum for prospective aircraft electronics technicians. Thanks to a comprehensive set of handheld and mobile radios, along with accessories from HMF Smart Solutions, the lessons can be presented with even greater clarity. Teacher Peter Greifenberg (right) recently visited us and, together with our colleagues Alexander Heindorf and Frank Bruchhaus, assembled the equipment. Back in the school lab, the trainees will have the chance to thoroughly examine and experiment with their new radio technology, gaining a deeper understanding of the underlying physical principles. 🚀 Meeting of the TETRA++ Research Group at HMF 🚀 Over the past two days, our project partners from Fraunhofer IOSB-INA Technische Hochschule OWL, T-Systems International and biqx GmbH have joined us for our quarterly meeting in Bad Münder. These regular gatherings within the research group are an opportunity to update each other on the project's status and progress, collaborate on specific topics, and advance new, innovative approaches. This session included a workshop focused on TETRA functionalities through 5G. Additionally, we had the chance to showcase our 5G lab, including our 5G campus network and system test facilities, during a company tour. 💡 What is TETRA++ about? The research project, titled "Extension of TETRA by new generation broadband networks (TETRA++)", aims to test the interoperability, availability, and scalability of mission-critical communication via 5G in practice, using two test fields based on HMF's MCX solution.
