Not all manufacturers provide products that can withstand the harsh winter temperatures of around -40 degrees Celsius, which is why only high-quality parts were considered for the project. And there were also special conditions to consider during the planning phase. A superlative solar project: the largest solar power plant in Central and Eastern Europe. 1️⃣6️⃣ The Zwartowo solar park is immensely important for both GOLDBECK SOLAR, but also for Central and Eastern Europe. For Poland in particular, the solar park makes an important contribution to achieving its own climate protection goals and energy independence. With an area of around 300 ha, Zwartowo is not only a superlative project in terms of output but also a model of sustainable planning. For GOLDBECK SOLAR, ecological factors also played a role in the planning. For example, biodiversity was carefully preserved during the development of the solar park. A technically challenging project that sets new standards: The Solar Park Bavelse Berg is an amazing example of dual-purpose land utilization. 1️⃣3️⃣One of the major challenges was certainly the shape of the mountain on which the plant was built. The solar modules had to be flexibly installed to adapt to the subsoil without blocking the agricultural land. Within the plant, we have 34 different orientations of the panels. Of course, the landfill's functionality was not to be compromised. The landfill is separated from the surface by a protective film. The landfill contains numerous pipes and valves to discharge the gas produced during waste processing.
