“Board members are smart. They have seen a lot of things and unless you're careful, they can easily become a firing missile.” 💣 Learn how to manage a biotech board effectively with insights from Marina Udier-Blagovic, the CEO of Nouscom, a biotech with a strong and large board. “As long as we actually do what we say we would, then that trust starts building.” It was really interesting hearing how Marina manages her board, making sure she keeps all the work focused and on the right track. I also really enjoyed her pointing out that she isn’t afraid of asking for help from her board. She really utilizes all the talent and brains from her board to the fullest to succeed. “The more you can use your board in ways that help you, the better.” Her experience resonated with mine managing the board at Labiotech, especially around keeping a board focused on what’s most important.
