𝗝𝗮𝗵𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗸𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗘𝗦𝗚: "𝗜𝘀 𝗔𝗜 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲?" 🌍 We had the honor of attending the "Jahreskongress ESG", organized by Heuer Dialog GmbH. Alongside other experts and pioneers, we were challenged to discuss the question: "Is Artificial Intelligence (AI) a silent climate killer or a true gamechanger in asset management?" 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 In the panel discussion, our co-founder Dr.-Ing. Thomas Weber shared etalytics' belief that AI is indeed a true gamechanger in sustainable decision-making. He had the opportunity to talk about our projects, where we’ve seen AI successfully drive sustainable energy in industrial sites and #DataCenters, significantly reducing emissions. Hearing the perspectives of Niklas Brokamp, Dr. Uwe Forgber, Dr. Jan Serode and Christine Damke, as well as their expert views on the topic, was valuable and inspiring, as climate change is a challenge that we must tackle collectively. A special thank you to Dr. Jan Serode for his fascinating insights into ESG taxonomy and its application in the building industry. We also want to express our gratitude to all the panel members for the memorable connections and discussions. 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘂𝘀! Curious about our vision on AI and sustainability but couldn’t attend the event? 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗴 𝗛𝗜𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰! 🚀 We were inspired to attend the Hessischer Ingenieurtag HIT 2024, hosted by VDI Hessen! Set in the historic courtroom of Wiesbaden, the event’s main topic was ‘’Zukunft Deutschland 2050’’ and focused on envisioning the German industry in 2050 and emphasized the importance of innovation. A central theme was the path towards a sustainable future. As Alicja Niekrawietz said in her talk: “We are convinced that sustainable transformation unites environmental consciousness and profitability.” The day featured insightful and thought-provoking talks from Jörg Schmidt, Dr. Michael Alsmann, and Marco Münchhof. They each spoke about how their companies are tackling today’s key challenges, like the major challenge of climate change. But we also tackled another main question: how can we promote engineering studies for young people? This is a key challenge for the future and innovation. We were thrilled to see VDI’s commitment to these issues. Adrian Willig gave a powerful speech on Germany’s future, reminding us that we must look ahead and proactively shape it. It was inspiring to hear about effective strategies and successful projects already underway. A big thank you to VDI Hessen for hosting this incredible event, to the organizers, and to everyone we had the honor of meeting! Interested in our vision but couldn’t meet us at the event? 🔍 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗜-𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 In his insightful article, Ramzi CHARIF discusses AI’s potential to significantly transform #DataCenter operations. He highlights the following 3 benefits: ➡️ Energy Efficiency: AI optimizes cooling in real-time, driving substantial energy savings. ➡️ Reliability: AI predicts equipment failures by analyzing historical and current data, ensuring smooth operations. ➡️ Security: AI monitors network activity for anomalies, allowing quick responses to threats and adapting to new risks. While the benefits of using AI-driven solutions in data centers are impressive, he also points out the industry’s reluctance to adopt these technologies — a hesitation that is not surprising as it is highly critical infrastructure. We understand these concerns, which is why we take a step-by-step approach to integrating AI-driven control optimization: We prioritize gaining valuable insights before gradually scaling to critical operations. This way, we eliminate the risk of disruptions and help the operating team fully understand how to effectively work with the system. We're thankful that many large data center operators have already placed their trust in us, allowing us to successfully implement our solutions and achieve up to 50% #EnergySavings in cooling. We couldn’t agree more with Ramzi Charif’s positive outlook: "As AI continues to evolve, data centers that embrace its potential will be the ones that lead the way in innovation and growth!" 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eTCztJHX #AI #EnergyEfficiency #Sustainability #Innovation #DigitalTransformation #etalytics

👋 𝗦𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝘀, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿! As etalytics continues to grow, with more and more customers onboard and our projects scaling globally, the time has come to level up our leadership team. With over 10 years of experience in sustainability and industrial energy optimization, Lars Petruschke is an expert in #EnergyEfficiency and #CO2Reduction and therefore an excellent addition to our team. In his new role, he will lead the Customer Success Department, where his primary mission will be helping our customers achieve their goals and gain the maximum benefit from our solutions. Deepening our focus on our customers’ needs is our main priority. His special skills? Exceptional organization and attentive listening, qualities that make him a supportive team leader who brings clarity to complex projects. Most recently, Lars was a Chief Engineer at PTW TU Darmstadt, where he oversaw employees and managed the ETA research group concentrating on advanced energy technologies. As he works toward completing his PhD in mechanical engineering, he is deepening his knowledge by examining practical strategies to improve energy efficiency of metal cutting machine tools in industry. Outside of work and research, he enjoys Italian cuisine and cherishes the enriching experiences he gained while living abroad in Sweden. We had a great start with Lars. On his first day he had a delightful surprise in his etalytics welcome kit: his favorite candy, “Lachgummi!” Did we know that he’s a fan, or was it just a lucky coincidence? That remains a mystery. #EnergyIntelligence #Sustainability #MeetTheTeam #Teametalytics #etalytics
