  • Did you know Deep Blue Recruitment provides two types of interim legal services in Germany? 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐥 𝐎𝐧-𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝: Typically, for scale-ups and SMEs with 50-500 employees, an experienced General Counsel with 10+ years of expertise takes the lead in managing the legal function. With a seasoned GC at the helm, legal risks are mitigated, compliance is streamlined, and contracts are expertly handled — all while ensuring the leadership team can focus on scaling the business and driving growth. 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐧-𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝: For larger businesses (500+ employees), an in-house lawyer with 7-10 years of experience can step in to fill skill gaps, manage complex projects, or cover parental leave. This approach provides the flexibility to address immediate needs while maintaining continuity in your legal function — all without the long-term commitment of a permanent hire. Connect to discuss how we can support your team. #GeneralCounsel #Legal #InHouseCounsel #Berlin #Law

Legal & Compliance Headhunter: Placing Top-Tier Talent In-House Roles and Law Firms. GC & Legal On-Demand

𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤, 𝐈 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬' 𝐂𝐕𝐬. 𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈’𝐯𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐈’𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐂𝐕: 1️⃣ 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 Some of the CVs were too complicated in layout — multiple colours, unnecessary graphics, and cluttered sections. Stick to a clean and professional design. The focus should be on the content, not the visuals. 2️⃣ 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 A lot of CVs simply list job duties, but what employers want to see is the impact you’ve made. Did you negotiate a key deal or lead on a significant project? Be specific and include numbers. 3️⃣ 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 Several CVs went into far too much detail about early career roles, like internships. This isn't necessary if you’re gone a few years into your career. Instead, focus on your more recent, relevant experience. A CV is your chance to show employers what you can bring to the role — keep it simple and focused. 🎯 Do you have any other tips that people would like to share? @ GCs, Partners, Legal Leaders, and TA Teams, what do you want to see on CVs? #LegalCareers #CVTips #CareerAdvice #LegalRecruitment #GeneralCounsel

  • Klarna, the Swedish fintech giant known for its "Buy Now, Pay Later" services, has been experimenting with AI to enhance its financial products, customer experience, and operational efficiency. Peter Clark recently caught up with Selma Bogren (Senior Managing Counsel), who generously shared insights on how she has leveraged AI in her legal practice. Selma believes the best thing to do is start small. "Begin with small projects to assess value. When you find use cases worthwhile, demonstrate the value and encourage others to test them out as well. This approach will build confidence across the legal department, pave the way for demystifying AI, and allow adoption across a wider range of use cases." Here are examples of some ChatGPT use cases she believes can be a good starting point. #Legal #AI #InHouseLawyer #LawyersofLinkedIn

  • 📜 Redrafting Our Recruitment Scope! 📜 At Deep Blue Recruitment, we will extend our services beyond the in-house realm to select law firms. Why this move? As a legal headhunter, I'm often approached by lawyers interested in switching firms but are not yet ready to go in-house. By expanding, we can support those lawyers who want to continue their careers at different firms. What does this mean? We can now support legal talent at every stage: 1️⃣ Legal Interns – with our Paralegal & Legal Intern Jobs Newsletter. 2️⃣ Lawyers - by connecting them with in-house opportunities or at a firm. 3️⃣ Freelance Lawyers – with interim project placements. This gives us a complete view of the legal job market across all levels, further strengthening our position as a leader in hiring in this space. What’s your biggest challenge in hiring legal talent? #Legal #Rechtsanwalt #Volljurist #GeneralCounsel

  • In the early stages of building a startup, navigating legal complexities is a critical but often daunting task. As your business evolves, so too do the legal challenges you face. So, when is the right time to bring on your first in-house counsel? How do you find the perfect fit who can grow with your company? Getting the search process wrong can result in hiring someone poorly suited to the role, leading to inefficiencies and legal gaps. Hiring a candidate who is not the right fit can escalate legal fees and can hinder your company's growth. Peter Clark talked with Jonas Stoffel, the General Counsel at Leapsome, and he shared seven strategic tips to guide founders through this key decision. Whether you’re preparing for your first legal hire or planning ahead, Jonas’ insights will help support you on this journey. What lessons have you learned from making your first legal hire or being the first in-house lawyer that might be useful to founders? #GeneralCounsel #InHouseCounsel #StartupGrowth #HiringTips
