This is how you optimize your LinkedIn ™ profile in 5 easy steps for lead generation. Step 1: Define a clear goal. What do you want visitors of your profile to do? What is your preferred way for them to get in contact with you? I offer a free 20-minute advice call as a first contact point. Communicate this goal across your full profile and focus only on this goal. Step 2: Write for your ideal customer When your ideal customer visits your profile they should feel like you understand their challenges, pains, and desires. And you are the expert to help them. Step 3: Create a visual profile Use featured media and rich media to educate your ideal customer about your experience. Include different types of media such as video, podcasts and blogs. People have different preferences in how they prefer to consume content. Step 4: Add social proof and become relatable Recommendations are a great way to have others speak about how great you are. They also help to become relatable, when you've worked with professionals similar to your ideal customer, they can recognize themselves. They will be more likely to do business with you because you've done it before with similar professionals. Step 5: Keep it authentic Use AI for inspiration, visit other profiles for inspiration but create your own profile. Your profile is the first impression you make with your ideal customer. Make sure they get to know you, and they trust you. Trust can't be built based on AI text or copied past text. All done? 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐖𝐞 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐭 $𝟑.𝟖𝟕 In the whole sales funnel, there are many variations. You need to maximize booking rate, show-up rate, and closing rate. But before worrying about those, you should optimize your cost per lead to ensure you have potential clients. Our recent campaign reached a $3.87 cost per lead, and I want to share how our testing process achieved this magnificent result. Our first campaign contained 3 ad sets: one for a lookalike audience and two for interest-based audiences. Every 3 days, we removed the worst-performing ad set and replaced it with a new one. After the first week, when we had enough data, we ran a new campaign with the winning ad sets to scale while continuing to test new angles and interests. Even with winning ads, you shouldn’t leave them alone. Continue to test new creatives and copywriting. Key points we noticed: -Shorter copywriting is better, leaving more interpretation to the potential client and sparking curiosity. -The best-performing creatives were proof of work from our client and carousel posts (like tweet carousels). -Lookalike audiences weren’t the best; interest-based audiences performed better. How my client got 61 leads with one post I didn't write the post. And I didn't even tell him what to write. Yet, by building a strategic inbound system and adding the right words at the end… A post of his that would get 50-100 likes. Got the same engagement + 61 leads. Obviously, this was his top converting publication. But every piece of content since has brought him more and more leads. Here’s how you can do the same: 1. Understand your ICP better than they understand themselves. 2. Share something you know or use to do what you do without you. 3. Give it away for free in exchange for their contact details. 4. Ensuring Your Cold Emails Don't Get Marked as Spam.? To maximise the chances of your cold emails landing in the recipient's inbox instead of the spam folder, consider the following best practices: 1. Authenticate Your Emails Setting up email authentication protocols is crucial. Implement the following: SPF (Sender Policy Framework): This verifies that your email server is authorized to send emails on behalf of your domain. DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail): This adds a digital signature to your emails, ensuring their integrity and authenticity. DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance): This provides instructions to email servers on how to handle emails that fail SPF or DKIM checks. These protocols help establish your credibility with email service providers (ESPs) and reduce the likelihood of being marked as spam. 2. Warm Up Your Email Account If you are using a new email account or increasing your sending volume, gradually warm up the account.  Start with a low volume of emails (20-50 per day) and slowly increase it over time.  This helps build your sender reputation and reduces the risk of being flagged as spam. 3. Use a Separate Domain for Cold Outreach Avoid using your main business domain for cold emailing. Instead, consider creating a separate domain specifically for outreach.  This protects your primary domain from potential spam complaints and blacklisting. 4. Craft Compelling and Concise Emails Keep It Short: Aim for emails that are concise (ideally under four sentences). Long emails can be perceived as spammy and may deter recipients from reading them. Avoid Spam Trigger Words: Steer clear of common spammy phrases and excessive promotional language that might trigger spam filters. 5. Limit Links and Attachments Too many links or attachments can raise red flags for spam filters. Keep the number of links minimal and ensure they are relevant to the content of your email. 6. Monitor Sending Volume Maintain a moderate sending volume.  It’s recommended to keep your daily sends below 150 emails initially, and gradually increase as your domain warms up.  Avoid sending large batches all at once. 7. Engage Recipients with a Clear Call to Action Include a clear and simple call to action in your emails.  This encourages engagement, which is a positive signal to ESPs that your emails are valued and relevant. 8. Personalise Your Emails Personalization can significantly improve engagement rates.  Tailor your emails to the recipient's interests and needs, which can help avoid the spam folder and increase the likelihood of a response. 9. Clean Your Email List Regularly verify and clean your email list to remove invalid addresses. High bounce rates can negatively impact your sender reputation and increase the chances of being marked as spam. No one thinks this - NO ONE - until it happens to them. The big thing I see is sites getting hacked to use the server resources for mining bitcoin. The issue here is it may not appear to do damage to your website, but over time it slows your site down, and can impact your domain reputation. If your domain becomes blacklisted, that hurts your email deliverability. This is my LinkedIn content performance in the last 365 days. 2989% up compare to 2023. I have only 9100 followers but I reach 119000 unique people on LinkedIn 886.976 impressions is not a really big number for B2C but we are in B2B SaaS Space so we are happy. And we are happy because we see people are using the insights we share and follow people we recommend. The best day was 18th of June (tekpon awards) when we had more than 516 people post about the event. And here is a lesson: personal branding is super important but you need to add value if you want to have 880.000+ post impressions/year You need to be authentic and people will love it. We all love authentic people.

You, on average, see 4000 ADs on your device per day. And I bet you can't remember more than 4 of the AD’s you saw on your feed yesterday (except for HighSmile because I can’t escape you mfs 🔥 ) So advertisers, it begs the question- what the heck are you spending all this money for? Because it's the done thing? Because you have to compete? There’s no denying it brings some sales, I’m not going to argue that. But, I’ve got a solution; And it's all about going back to basics. Just like the New Balance sneakers your dad wore in the 80’s have made a comeback, so has print advertising. 75% recall brands from print ads, with 80% acting immediately, surpassing digital's immediate action rate of 45%. There is something to be said for tangibility. But anyway like everything, I’m lowkey trying to sell you on something, and no this isn't confirmation bias, those are actual statistics. How to get 10x more leads to reply (to your cold emails): (this works for any business) Here's your buyer's journey: - They get your cold email. - The search you online. - They find rubbish. - They don't reply. (I call it "The Sniff Test") The solution: Become sniff-test proof! - Have some articles. - Have a newsletter/blog. - Have a LinkedIn profile (+info for cold leads). You don't need a wiki page. 17 DMs sent. 3 sales calls booked. Numbers 📈 from last week. These are 3 changes I’ve made that I believe helped me book more sales calls. 1/ Research Before sending the 1st message I prequalify who I DM by looking through their profile and website to find out: if they’re a solo founder, what service they provide, who they provide it to, and how long they’ve been in business. To make sure I’m reaching out to the best quality clients. 2/ More research When I get a reply to my 1st message, I’ll spend 5+ mins researching their profile, their business page and their website so I have context and I can ask specific questions tailored to their service and any problems I’ve spotted in my research. 3/ Tone I’ve started reading my texts out loud pretending I’m talking to someone, before I hit send. If it sounds natural I’ll send it. But if it doesn’t feel like I would say this to someone in person, I’ll reword it so the conversation flows better.

How I got my Facebook Ad account banned for life and how you can avoid it. 6 years ago, I helped a friend run Facebook ads to sell his product. I don't remember the exact product, but Facebook rejected the ads multiple times. As a beginner back then, I didn’t know much about the rules.  🤦And since my friend really needed to sell those products, I kept trying. My Facebook personal account got permanently banned from running ads. Thankfully, I had a second Facebook account. So I was able to keep running ads using that one. 😮‍💨 However, not everyone is that lucky. Here are 3 tips to avoid getting your account banned. 1️⃣ Never use your personal Facebook Ads account to run ads. If it gets banned, you lose access to ads forever. 2️⃣ Create multiple ad accounts. Meta allows you to create several accounts, so use that to your advantage. Run small campaigns on backup accounts to keep them active. This way, your ads spend won’t be limited when your main ad account has issues. 3️⃣ Stay updated on Meta Ads policies. Meta’s rules and policies change frequently. Make sure you understand and comply with them to avoid breaking any rules. Learn from my mistake and protect your ad account.

Here’s why SaaS founders struggle with creating LinkedIn content: (and how to fix It) SaaS founders are neck-deep in building the business. The result? Even if they are creating content - It’s mediocre at best. This inconsistency means missed opportunities to: - Build credibility. - Become an authority. - Build trust with your audience. You probably have a brilliant product, but the truth is... Hardly anyone knows about it because you’re not visible enough on LinkedIn. Your competitors, however, are making noise. They're attracting the right kind of people. And becoming thought leaders. Here’s what you need: 1. Coming up with ideas that align with your end goal. 2. Bucketing these ideas into the right pillars ('CAT' framework) 3. Executing these ideas by turning them into content. All of this takes time. But ROI in the long term is massive. And I don't mean just a quote on your website, the dream is full video interviews. Case Study Benefits: 1️⃣ Add Social proof for internal and external stake holders. 2️⃣ Help us understand business transformations. 3️⃣ Provides copywriting material - we can write in the same language that clients use. 4️⃣ Sales team can see exactly what the service does for your customers - this feeds into morale, and helps with conviction. 5️⃣ Old case studies don’t have quantifiable results - by concentrating on business outcomes we increase the effectiveness of the case study, and can use it at different points in the sales cycle. 6️⃣ Easier to make sales via story telling - we can relay more features back to case study outcomes. Just 1 transformational one can increase close rate significantly. When crafting case studies focus on the transformation rather than the features/steps within it.
