Hi Antonio,
You're free to submit document feedback, but it's somewhat covered in this topic in the procedure:
https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/ontap-systems-upgrade/upgrade-arl-auto-affa900/replace-node1-aff700-fas900.html#remove-the-aff-a700-or-fas9000-nvram-module
Move all flash cache modules installed in the FAS9000 NVRAM module to the FAS9500 NVRAM module.
It's an easy stretch to believe that you can swap in a different capacity flash cache drive or even add a 2nd flash cache drive in slot 6-2 at this time, too.

You can direct-attach iSCSI or NVMe/TCP to any of our platforms. However, this is generally discouraged because it severely limits scaling and may not have sufficient redundancy. You must have a switch for FC because we rely on NPIV services from the switch to support multiple LIFs on a single physical port.

What platform and LOADER version are you using?
I'm a little confused with your post, though. You are showing an error for the bootmedia (i.e. the boot device), but you are asking how to test system memory?
You can test memory with system-level HW diagnostics (devtype = mem) See: https://kb.netapp.com/on-prem/ontap/OHW/OHW-KBs/How_to_use_the_ONTAP_Hardware_SLDIAG_tool
The LOADER "memtest" command is for internal development purposes, only. It is not to be used by customers.

That is a facilitating part number that signals that a back-end (cluster, storage, MetroCluster-IP) switch is included in a sales order. It does not map to any particular switch model.
Why do you ask?

A big question to answer first is what will the SSDs be used for?
If they are going to be configured as Storage Pools for Flash Pool (hybrid aggregate) use, then they cannot be used for root partitions (they use a 4-partition scheme of "allocation units").
See: https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/ontap-cli/storage-pool-create.html Personally, I think of SSD space as more "precious". The node root volume doesn't require the performance of SSDs. So, I favor initializing for ADP (root-data) on the HDDs.

Typically, you have one cluster management interface (LIF) and two node management interfaces. The cluster-mgmt LIF could be mapped to any of the node’s management ports. Try using the node-mgmt LIF/IP, instead.

Short answer... do not replace the DIMM. See: How to troubleshoot correctable memory errors on FAS and AFF systems For your platform and ONTAP version, specifically see: Correctable memory errors in ONTAP with dynamic thresholds

Internal shelves of controllers (like AFF A250, AFF A800) are hard-coded to ID = 00.
When setting NS224 shelf IDs that are attached to controllers with integrated (internal) storage, always start with 01 or higher. Make sure shelf IDs are unique within an HA pair, at least. https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/ontap-systems/ns224/change-shelf-id.html

X65402 (332-00389) is also a 40GBASE-eSR4 QSFP transceiver and is supported on AFF A700s onboard ports.
Maybe it's time to start suspecting the EX4550-EM-2QSFP module?

The A700s 40GbE onboard ports are known to work well with Cisco 40GbE Twinax, generally. It is most likely an issue on the switch side. You can consider using the switch vendor's supported CR4 cables or as others have suggested... go with optical (SR4).

There's a few useful KB articles covering this error. It could be miscabling or it could be that you have ports that should be in the Cluster IPspace or vice-versa (they're supposed to be Cluster, but are in the data IPspace). For an AFF A250, ports e0c and e0d should be in the Cluster IPspace. https://kb.netapp.com/Special:Search?query=Unused+cluster+ports+exist+in+the+cluster&type=wiki

It is better characterized as a motherboard procedure, but it is a supported way to change the mezzanine that is being used. Order Qty: 2 of this part and any applicable SFP cables/optics.
X3218A Controller,No MEM,CNA,C190,FAS2700
You will need to move over all of the internal components from the old motherboard (DIMMs, NV battery). You will also need to open a non-technical case to transfer your support entitlements and licenses to the new motherboard's system serial number (SSN).

There's a few red flags, here...
First, an IOM12 shelf module is not supported in a DS4243 chassis.
Second, a DS4243 (or any NetApp shelf) cannot be connected as a JBOD to any arbitrary host. NetApp shelves are only attached to NetApp FAS or AFF controllers.

Is the HA partner down (at LOADER) or removed? You don't want your HA partner to be active while you are doing this. Just assign the disks to one node.

For front-end data networking use, we have a flexible policy. Using 3 rd party optics/cables is permitted, as long as they are similar in technology and compliant with applicable Ethernet standards. Generally, you would avoid active copper and active optical technologies, unless we specifically have our own solutions for them (per HWU). If using another vendor’s cables/optics, best to stick with ones that are approved by the device/switch vendor.
So, “Try it – it might work. YMMV”. But since you do not have support entitlement, your options might be limited.
