Job description:
Responsible for enterprise-wide middleware and application hosting technology standards, patterns and lifecycle of middleware tool's like (TomCat, Informatica, Mantas, MuleSoft, Tibco, IIQ, WMQ, Connect Direct, Data Power, Coherence, Jboss, Tumbleweed and Kafka)
Assist in maintaining and improving proactive Middleware monitoring processes as required in the Procedural documentation and as part of Schedule 9 Network Operation Center (NOC) services.
Provide support to the Solutions Engineering team towards designing solutions to meet project requirements
Develop methods to create repeatable and efficient procedures to deploy products
Performance tuning for Middleware instance(s) and server(s) for maximum performance.
Develop frameworks and best practices for disaster recovery and high availability application design, DMZ application hosting, test environment specifications, etc that can be applied consistently to application infrastructure deployments
Interface with Customer's Third Party service providers and vendors in support of Incident Management and Problem Management for resolution.
Manage the lifecycle of the full catalog of application hosting and middleware technology products Experience: Significant expertise (5 to 7 years) in defining, designing and deploying global business applications with both internal and external customer focus Certifications in Core technologies preferred Significant expertise and experience in defining philosophy and principles for global engineering in middleware and application hosting technologies.
Install, configure, and integrate middleware components ranging from (TomCat, Imformatica, Mantas, Mulesoft, Tibco, IIQ, WMQ, Connect Direct, Data Power, Coherence, Jboss, Tumbleweed and Kafka)etc.

Upgrade and migrate the Middleware Tech Stack for PLM activities.
Administer middleware products and provide application support during project phases.
Deploy and support web-based platforms.
Install and configure standard pre-approved requests for On-Prem or Cloud Middleware with the necessary specifications for applications and performance.
Develop infrastructure, infrastructure tools, and documentation during project phases.
Provide application administration and deployment support to the application teams during project phases.
Implement Middleware leading practices improvements for optimal performance and monitoring alerts to avoid incidents as approved by Customer's Engineering team.
8-10 years work experience as Middleware architect
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Shell, Python, Pearl, Ruby and Powershell scripting experience to automate tasks and procedures.
Experience in Unix, Linux and Windows environments Self starter with desire to understand work and project objectives, not just execute Possesses a good understanding of IT service management Strong communication (oral and written) and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate new concepts, and drive change in process and behaviors
