The Enterprise Data Architect will be responsible for the design, build, maintenance, and governance of an integrated company-wide data architecture and strategy including the support of the current Bank Data Warehouse.
This role will strategically partner with upstream data providers and downstream data consumers to understand the critical reporting needs to help manage and grow the business.
The architecture will leverage key master and reference datasets to support integrated data reporting such as member householding, customer and product profitability, and advanced data analytics.
This person will also look to leverage AI where possible as well as trend monitoring for quality control (QC).
Critical to the success of this role, is the data governance and controls to ensure that the data is accurate, complete, accessible and available and is viewed as the trusted source for downstream reporting and business operations.
This leader should look to leverage modern technology and recommend best practices to ensure a best-in-class data platform.
*Essential Responsibilities:* * Develop and implement an end-to-end data product strategy along with the company's objectives * Foster strategic relationships with key organizational stakeholders, understand their data needs and align data product strategy accordingly * Responsible for the overall data strategy ,architecture and operations of the existing Microsoft Azure data warehouse used to support line of business reporting * Conduct assessments of current data domain and envision their desired future states and orchestrate roadmap to bridge any existing gaps * Responsible for the overall data architecture and operations of the existing Microsoft Azure data warehouse used to support line of business reporting * End-to-end data lifecycle management activities, evaluating and recommending new and emerging data management and storage technologies * Serve as highly collaborative partner to ensure cross functional data governance, adoption/adherence to data quality standards/processes * Promote use of industry leading trends and new data management technologies.
Be obsessed with improving the business data capabilities and business performance * Actively lead/participate in evaluation of new data sources, acquisition of data, and delivery of data * Provide thought leadership in proper implementation of processes and tools that best align with the organization’s strategic objectives.
* Adheres to applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

*Minimum Required Skills & Competencies:* * 7-10 years of data architecture and reporting experience * Cloud background and understanding of multiple disparate architectures * Financial Services background a plus * Strong management abilities and the ability to recognize and foster other management personnel.
