Job Description This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences.
The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization.
The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.
S.
Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience.
The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code Consistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs Performs analysis on failures, propose design changes, and encourage operational improvements Makes sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront Takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards Maintain and monitor the operations and integrity of production systems.
Prioritize numerous issues of varying severity, and effectively working with App teams to manage the resolution of all issues within accepted service levels.
Collaborate extensively with Operations, Prod support, Development, Application teams and other business units to resolve client issues while actively contributing to a growing knowledge network that improves the effectiveness of our team and the information available to our clients.
Support the release management process, ensuring that all production changes and releases of in-house and third-party applications are processed according to Change Management policies and procedures.
Select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools Schedule the release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release.
Create plans for the implementation and deployment as per the release schedule.
Plan and give weekly updates on the release activities.
Communicate with release managers from different IT departments.
Track progress and provide updates on Go-Live activities during deployments.
You will be responsible for the Release Management lifecycle that involves the stages such as scheduling the release, coordinating between teams, and deployment of release as per the schedule.
Schedule the change approval meetings to discuss the release schedules with the team and find roadblocks, if any.
Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notifications lists, and dependencies.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience - Five to six years of relevant experience Preferred Skills/Experience Adept with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles Strong hands on experience with DevOps capabilities - containers, cloud, automation, security, configuration management, CI/CD Strong hands on experience with Java/Spring, SQL Server, Microservices, GraphQL, REST, Confluent Kafka, IBM MQ, Redis, Log4J, Splunk, Splunk, App Dynamics, Rancher Technically proficient and able to define and fulfill solutions requirements for end user Able to communicate processes and results with all parties involved in the product team, including engineers, product owner, scrum master, third party vendors and customers Proficient understanding of algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns and best practices Effective problem-solving and analytical skills The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
