Job Overview::
Due to Company growth, we are actively seeking an Engineer II to join our team to work with engineers on various distribution projects in Charlotte & Raleigh, North Carolina.
Responsibilities & Duties::
Perform Distribution planning and design services for the design of overhead and underground electric and/or electrical distribution facilities.
Reviews and/or prepares engineering-quality drawings suitable for construction.
Perform site visits to inspect measure and verify designs.
Work packages will be developed using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools Work Management Systems (WMS) and other client systems for and completion of construction and maintenance work.
Assembles contract agreement easement cost estimate and any other necessary documentation associated with the project.
Assists with load checks investigation of customer complaints and the plans for corrective action when indicated
Qualifications & Skills::
Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of experience in utility
2+ years of Distribution line experience
Proficient with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
Strong knowledge with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook Word and Excel.
Must be able to report to the office on a daily basis, located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
