JS Developer on the Product and Technology team, you’ll develop, modify, enhance and implement software systems designed to support Spectrums business initiatives.
You will be immersed in maintaining and providing technical assistance for existing software solutions.
As well as reviewing the work of less experienced team members.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM Required Qualifications Experience: 6+ years experience with coding, testing and design.
6+ years experience with software development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and Node.
js.
2+ years of experience with Angular or a similar front-end framework is desired, but not mandatory.
At least 3 years of experience with databases, with a strong preference for experience in document databases like MongoDB.
4+ years of experience in developing RESTful APIs.
Understanding of asynchronous development and data security principles.
Experience with testing frameworks like Mocha or Jest and familiarity with TDD/BDD methodologies.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable and well-documented code, and perform thorough code reviews.
Experience mentoring junior developers and leading teams is desired.
Excellent communication skills required; experience working in Agile environments.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience; May require Industry Standard Certification Skills: Systems knowledge (Linux, Unix) Infrastructure knowledge (Raw Iron, Steel Cloud, ElasticCloud, OpenStack, AWS) In-depth knowledge in areas of specialty for specific applications, and general knowledge of supporting or integrating applications creating platform ecosystems.
Basic Knowledge in TCP/IP and the OSI Model Expert knowledge in using ticketing and software tools to support the current operations.
Expert knowledge of software designing software, such as Visio Knowledge of Microsoft Office General knowledge of OSI stack and application architectures Abilities: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
