Job Overview
The Solutions Architect II is an experienced and seasoned Solutions Architect with a broad range of technical skills, and a deep understanding of software design patterns and technologies used in complex solution development.
This individual will have experience in the full software development life cycle and experience in designing and rolling out complex full stack IT solutions.
This position will be expected to actively guide the technical design and code development processes as a subject matter expert for multiple concurrent major projects and large system enhancements.
This is a senior role that requires creativity, technical leadership to other developers and is the lead developer in implementing key solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Enhance Existing Applications and New Application Development – Define, code, and oversee implementation of new technical requirements based on business requirements from our clients and ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems, applications and platforms.
• Technical Lead - Create high-level architectural specifications and initial design for our solutions and develop code for our proprietary applications.
• Knowledge Lead - Proactive knowledge transfer, coaching, and mentoring of development team in regards to technologies and systems, and business processes.
• Promote Development Standards - Promote software principles, strategies, and architectures as defined by the Enterprise Architect (Git, archiving process, JIRA, web technologies, etc.
).
Identify improvement recommendations to Enterprise Architect to achieve best practices and high performance.
• Technology Research - Research and evaluate commercial technology solutions and trends to identify opportunities for improvement at Data Ventures.
Present opportunities to Enterprise Architect.

Knowledge and experience in Computer Science and Information Technology

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Computer Science
• 6-8+ Years of technical experience
