The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and security.
As a Senior CCNP Network Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and provide expert-level support for network-related issues.
This role requires strong technical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities and Duties: - Design and implement secure and scalable network architectures based on business requirements and best practices.
- Proactively monitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, and identify areas for improvement to optimize network functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during all phases of network implementation, including planning, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Lead projects to upgrade, expand, or enhance the network infrastructure to meet evolving business needs.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continually improve network efficiency.
- Provide expert-level support and mentorship to junior network engineers, sharing knowledge and promoting professional growth within the team.
Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- CCNP certification is required; CCIE certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies, including Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and IOS-XE.
- In-depth understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VLAN.
- Experience with network security technologies, such as firewalls, VPNs, and Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, and Cisco Prime.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
