Dewberry is currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Water/Wastewater Treatment in Charlotte, NC to join our growing Southeast water team.
Typical projects involve working with municipal, industrial, and federal clients to solve complex water and wastewater process challenges.
Seeking client focused individual with strong technical and consulting skills.

Responsibilities:
Design of water and wastewater treatment process and/or mechanical systems for both new construction, assessment, and rehabilitation/replacement projects
Development, evaluation, and preparation of construction drawings and specifications
Preparing technical reports
Meeting and corresponding with clients
Providing marketing support
Performing engineering calculations for water/wastewater projects
Required Skills & Required Experience:
B.
S.
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Environmental Engineering field is required, M.
S.
Degree preferred.
10+ years of experience with increasing levels of project management and client responsibilities.
PE required.
Experience working with multi-disciplined design team.
Experience in development of design documentation.
Experience in designing, selecting and specifying process equipment (pumps, blowers, mixers, filters, tanks, etc.
).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
