As an Advanced Software Engineer, you will drive efficient and effective deployment of global PPM process and standard PPM platform to improve Honeywell business results.
You will be the key liaison between business users in US time zone and development teams in India to communicate, document user requirements, attend to incidents, and manage urgent service requests.
You will provide immediate and timely solution by configuring/implementing needed changes in the PPM platform in accordance with the solution best practices.
You will also play a key role in implementation of key functionalities/capabilities in the PPM platform and aid in deployment of Global Design Model rollouts.
You will drive solution discussion, and partner with business leaders, Honeywell Learning and Honeywell User Experience teams to ensure effective training is provided to facilitate rapid adoption applications.

Key Responsibilities
This role is responsible for implementing Honeywell New Product Introduction (NPI) Process Global Design Model (GDM) in an industry leading Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool
Will be part of a team developing and configuring Honeywell NPI process in the standard PPM tool at Honeywell such as Accolade or CORA PPM
This role will also act as the US point of contact (during US business hours) for managing and handling any critical service requests, incidents, key leadership related asks and implement/configure the PPM platform on demand basis to address these immediate needs
Liaise with development teams in India to follow best practices in configuring / implementing PPM capabilities
YOU MUST HAVE
Coding experience especially in Java Script, HTML, CSS
Full stack software development background preferred
Knowledge of logging in to MS SQL database servers, monitoring, reviewing logs
Troubleshooting incidents by understanding App Server, DB Server services/logs
Python, MS SQL, IIS background
Configuring any COTS tools as administrators, developers
Engineering background and have large scale IT implementation skills
6+ years of overall experience in software product development
4-5 years knowledge in implementation of PPM platform / Accolade /Cora or equivalent PPM solutions (SAP PPM, HP PPM, Planisware)
