This is one of the statements of a recently released study by the German #BKA (you find the link in the comments). Too often I am hearing from #CISOs not having sufficient #budget for their #security initiatives and #business #stakeholders asking why to #invest into security and what the #minimum might be to be #sufficiently #secure. At the Investor Day of the Asset Management der Zürcher Kantonalbank it was interesting to bring the three perspectives of: • energy • entrepreneurship and • investment together.    All of them face intense pressures and challenges, requiring a relentless drive for progress and adaptation. But what commonalities tie them together? The EU Commission has published the Cyber Resiliance Act in the Official Journal. But even before the CRA, the cybersecurity extension of the RED needs to be fulfilled! This affects all radio devices that are internet-enabled. From August 2025, these devices must meet the new requirements. Olaf Classen, when you are so dependent on a product or service to run you business operations considering cybersecurity is important. Even more so when your products and services are raised as a threat to National Security. Globally the public and private sector are dependent on Microsoft, being an IT product and service provider is being a security company. The impact of recent security events at Microsoft and its cloud services may be significant, if customers look to move to alternate services like AWS or Google. It’s a user-friendly resource where you can find information and advice in case of a cybersecurity incident, as well as contact details for quick response. It reminds me of our Ukrainian Cyber Gate.
