We are incredibly fortunate to have such a diverse group of professionals broadening our perspectives at this year's Kubernetes Community Event in Zürich. One of them is Clément Nussbaumer, Software Engineer at PostFinance Switzerland. As a Kubernetes enthusiast, he'll share all about: 👉 RUD: Rapid Unscheduled Deletion of Critical Infrastructure Workloads. Managing Kubernetes clusters often involves deploying infrastructure workloads for #observability, #security, #monitoring, and more. This session explores how #PostFinance manages these workloads across 30 vanilla Kubernetes clusters using #ArgoCD #ApplicationSets. We'll demonstrate how a simple "Sync" operation triggered an incident across all clusters and share lessons learned, including safeguards and circular dependency considerations, to prevent similar issues in your own #GitOps environments.
