This initiative aims to assist in addressing the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region. The Data Hub includes: - A data portal to easily download updated geospatial data. - An Interactive Data Platform for users to visualize and interact with available data. - The Damage Assessment Dashboard, which offers an interactive map and data visualization tool with regional statistics. - The Cropland Analysis Dashboard, highlighting UNOSAT/FAO analysis of greenhouse and cropland damage. Yesterday, we hosted a webinar on using satellite imagery and geospatial information technology (GIT) to support cultural property protection in Ukraine. 🌍💻 The session, organized by UNESCO and United Nations Satellite Centre (UNOSAT) for cultural heritage professionals working explored the ongoing role of geospatial technology in safeguarding cultural and natural heritage in Ukraine. Opening remarks from Chiara DEZZI BARDESCHI (Head of the UNESCO Kyiv Desk), Olivier Van Damme (Chief of Strategic Planning and Coordination, UNOSAT), and Deputy Minister Anastasia Bondar (Ukraine Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communication) launched the webinar.
