We are fully committed to pioneering and translating nutritional science into life-saving formulas for infants and children suffering from an allergy that are unable to breastfeed. Our extensive investment in our clinical program ensures that our hypoallergenic formulas provide essential nutrition for non-breastfed infants suffering from Cow's Milk Protein Allergy (CMPA) with the potential to improve quality of life, both in the short and long term. 📢 We are thrilled to announce the publication of an ex-vivo study: https://lnkd.in/gcGsUx5f revealing data that supports the alleviation of dysbiosis in non-breastfed Infants with CMPA! This research, published in collaboration with Cryptobiotix in Beneficial Microbes, focuses on the impact of two human milk oligosaccharides and lactose on the faecal microbiome of infants with probable cow’s milk protein allergy. 📈 These promising results pave the way for future clinical trials, confirming the potential benefits for CMPA patients! *Information for Healthcare Professionals #CMPA #Nutrition #Science #GutHealth #Microbiome #Research #PromisingResult

A retrospective patient review shows potential enhanced weight-loss effectiveness of concomitant use of GLP-1 receptor agonists and meal replacement products. A recent retrospective case series from clinical practice, published in Obesity Pillars, supports that this approach is feasible and might enhance weight-loss effectiveness. +Weight reduction can be facilitated by different principles, including by using Optifast meal replacement products (that provide the required micro- and macronutrients, including proteins, during a weight-loss journey) or the use of GLP-1 receptor analogues. +Each of these caloric deficiency principles can deliver double digit weight loss, but they also have their shortcomings, like risk for adverse events, weight regain when discontinued, and low compliance. Combining these two weight-reducing principles could address some of their limitations, but little data from real-life is available. +This is a promising approach and the full potential of this combination should be unlocked in future studies. “Combining these weight management strategies works well and supports an individualized weight loss journey,” says Catherine Bacus , first author of the publication at Alevia Medical Weight Loss, East Melbourne, Wantirna, Australia. https://lnkd.in/g5DJsAn9 Terri-Lynne South , Sonia Raudszus , Odd Erik Johansen
