Cap Inclusive
🌟 We are thrilled to announce the recent success of the "Building a Purpose-Driven Organization" workshop, led by our CEO, Roxanne Leduc, in collaboration with La base entrepreneuriale HEC Montréal. It was an enlightening session focused on empowering entrepreneurs to align their organizations with a clear sense of purpose. At Cap Inclusive, we recognize that an organization's ability to succeed depends on its ability to articulate a purpose. By developing their own mission and vision statements, identifying their unique value propositions, and implementing effective differentiation strategies, this program provided entrepreneurs with significant insights into a variety of tools and techniques. Here are some key highlights from the workshop… 💡 Purpose Alignment: We delved into how to clearly define mission and incorporate it into day-to-day activities of a business. A well-defined mission statement not only attracts outstanding personnel but also fosters worker involvement, leading to increased output and creativity. Inclusive Teamwork: We explored the value of inclusive teamwork and how it will influence the nature of work in the future. Developing a culture where different viewpoints are respected and everyone feels included is essential to building a purpose-driven organization. The workshop served as an open forum for participants to share their experiences, challenges, and successes in building purpose-driven organizations. We are very grateful to each and every participant for their enthusiastic participation and active engagement! Is your accelerator or incubator considering hosting a workshop like this? 🚀 Visit our website at: www.capinclusive.com and get in touch to explore further opportunities! #CapInclusive #PurposeDrivenOrganization #InclusiveTeamwork #FutureOfWork #Entrepreneurship #Workshop #DEI #Empowerment

Similar to GDPR, the law in Quebec on Personal Data Protection affects any business doing business with individuals in the province. It's important to note that many provinces / states are considering to follow by adopting similar laws to GDPR. It's common sense that our personal data should remain confidential or at least, the use and publication should be approved by the person concerned. Imo, the best, easiest and most cost effective place to start as a business is to offer a way to secure the email. Emails remain the number 1 communication solution used in entreprise. Quebec City was magical 🪄 and such a great location for the Credit Union Technology Forum! We connected with so many incredible people, leadership teams, and strategic partners in the system We felt honoured to be able to be part of the conference kickoff running a workshop......"The Future of Collaborative Succession Planning". Thank you League Data, Darren Johnson, and Linda House for hosting the workshops! The audience engagement was fantastic and made everyone realize how important the future of succession planning is! Some of the key elements we jumped into where: 1️⃣ Why succession planning is essential to leadership continuity 2️⃣ Succession planning is a proactive process not a reactive one 3️⃣ Succession planning is a as much a culture project versus just strategy....."Culture eats strategy for breakfast" 4️⃣ Professional sports and succession planning have more in common then you think 5️⃣ Succession planning becomes a competitive advantage for companies! 6️⃣ On average Succession planning takes 24-36 months so don't delay Some questions we challenged the audience with were.... ❓ How clear is your leaderships next role? ❓ Do they have a clear plan for their future role? ❓ Have you done through a risk analysis plan to identify critical roles in your organizations and skill silos There was a ton of hands up with great questions! If you are looking for more information on how succession planning can evolve your leadership continuity let's connect and see where we can support!

Last night’s Governance au Féminin gala in Montreal was a powerful reminder of the progress being made—and the work still ahead—towards increasing the representation of women in leadership roles, especially as CEOs. It was inspiring to be surrounded by so many dedicated professionals and advocates committed to advancing gender equity at the highest levels of business. At Accenture we fully support this mission. We believe that empowering more women to lead isn’t just a step toward equality—it’s essential for driving innovation and achieving growth. Diverse leadership fosters better decision-making, and the ripple effects of having more women at the helm are felt across the entire organization. Let’s continue working together to open doors, create opportunities, and champion more women to take their place in the C-suite. The future of business depends on it. #Leadership #WomenInBusiness #GovernanceAuFeminin #DiversityAndInclusion #WomenCEOs #Montreal #WomenInTech

📣 CIJA & Federation CJA react to the dismantling of the illegal, antisemitic encampment in downtown Montreal's Square Victoria today, July 5, 2024. Yair Szlak, President and CEO of Federation CJA, issued the following statement : 'We are relieved to see the unlawful encampment at Place du Victoria removed earlier today by the SPVM. This is a good start, although it should not have taken over 20 days to reach a conclusion that was clear on day one, on June 22nd. For months, Federation CJA and CIJA have been advocating for municipal authorities to act against the explosive and unchecked rise of antisemitism in Montreal. We know that antisemitism is never just about the Jews; it is only the beginning and inevitably leads to more hate and attacks on our society. What starts with the Jews never ends with the Jews. We call on Montrealers to continue to speak out against the unlawful acts and spread of hate by pro-Hamas agitators and the unchecked hatred in our streets and on our campuses. We are grateful to our allies who have stood up and spoken out against antisemitism, and the hate and toxicity that has ruled our streets , whether in the media, in politics, or in civil society. Only together can we put an end to the hate. Today, we call on municipal officials to demonstrate leadership and finally deal with the encampment at McGill University and to put an end, once and for all, to the unchecked hate on our streets. Enough is enough!' Eta Yudin, VP of CIJA Quebec, made the following statement: This illegal camp should never have been left in place. It was a reprehensible union of radicals and extremists of all kinds that only served to increase intimidation, not only against Montreal's Jewish community, but also against all citizens of the city. The encampments have fostered an intimidating atmosphere in which hatred of Jews has been normalized. That our political leaders viewed it and explained it as nothing more than a "safe space" due to the difficult international context is a scandal. The end of this extremist grouping should not blind us to the fact that an antisemitic camp is still operating on the grounds of McGill University. We call on municipal authorities to finish the job of restoring peace, law, and order to our streets.' CBC https://lnkd.in/ghgGKXB9

🌟 Turning Cultural Heritage into a Strength in Quebec’s Professional World🌟 As Afrodescendants, we bring a wealth of global insights and rich cultural experiences to the table. Yet, navigating Quebec’s business landscape with these unique strengths can sometimes present challenges. I’ve walked this path myself and spent over 25 years mentoring others to do the same. For me, it’s about more than just adapting—it’s about thriving. 💼 Through coaching, I’ve had the privilege of helping professionals leverage their international backgrounds, align with local practices, and ensure their contributions are fully recognized. If this resonates with you, I’d love to connect and continue the conversation about how we can all grow, learn, and thrive together. #QuebecBusiness #CulturalDiversity #CareerDevelopment #ProfessionalGrowth
