Worth clarifying that a facial #ageestimation vendor with a model trained on for example ‘passport & visa’ photos captured on standalone cameras should score well on National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) as NIST Application & Visa test images are similarly captured at visa & immigration offices. So some FAE models may not see any / much improved accuracy when tested with mobile phone captured images. Conversely Yoti’s Sep 24 FAE model, which is almost entirely trained on mobile phone captured images, scores much less well on NIST test images than on ACCS mobile phone captured images. By understanding the theoretical, proof of concept, and observed threats within the framework, organizations can evaluate their current security measures against potential 5G-specific vulnerabilities. 2. **Enabling Adversarial Emulation**   Organizations can use the FiGHT framework to simulate attacks on their 5G networks. This adversarial emulation helps identify weaknesses in the network's defenses and tests the effectiveness of current security protocols. By emulating real-world attack scenarios, organizations can proactively strengthen their security posture before actual incidents occur. 3. **Identifying Coverage Gaps**   The FiGHT framework assists organizations in uncovering gaps in their security coverage. By mapping their defenses against the framework's extensive list of tactics and techniques, organizations can pinpoint areas where additional security measures are needed. This gap analysis is crucial for developing a more resilient 5G ecosystem. 4. **Informing Cyber Investment Planning**   With the FiGHT framework, organizations can make informed decisions about where to allocate resources for cybersecurity. The framework's structured understanding of 5G threats guides organizations in prioritizing investments that will have the highest impact on improving their security posture. 5. **Assessing the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of 5G Networks**   FiGHT provides organizations with the capability to assess the CIA of their 5G networks and applications. This assessment ensures that sensitive data remains confidential, network operations are reliable, and services are available to authorized users. 6. **Developing and Deploying Secure and Resilient 5G Systems**   By arming organizations with knowledge of how adversaries could disrupt 5G networks, the FiGHT framework serves as a guide for developing and deploying secure and resilient 5G systems. Post-Quantum Cryptography Standards Officially Announced by National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) The three standards are ML-KEM (formerly better known as Kyber), ML-DSA (formerly better known as Dilithium), and SLH-DSA (better known as Sphincs+). A fourth, FN-DSA (known as Falcon) has been chosen for future standardization. IBM is closly working with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and other academic institutions to develop these three standards.
