  • North American Produce Sales Website

    As one of Vancouver's oldest fresh produce local and import wholesalers, North American Produce Sales engaged me to build and launch their website during their diamond anniversary. With 75 years of rich history and through four generations of family ownership, the site needed to be attractive and convey the sense of pride, quality, and ownership that makes it special.

    As one of Vancouver's oldest fresh produce local and import wholesalers, North American Produce Sales engaged me to build and launch their website during their diamond anniversary. With 75 years of rich history and through four generations of family ownership, the site needed to be attractive and convey the sense of pride, quality, and ownership that makes it special.

    Besides site build, hosting setup, logo design, photography/graphics, and branding was included in the project.

    The Wordpress site had numerous customisations built into it, but a real focus was paid to SEO to reach through the cluttered produce market in Vancouver. Content was written to enhance organic SEO and every aspect of back end content was optimized as well. A Google Adwords campaign was launched concurrently to boost traffic. Traffic hit triple digits during the first week, and the company had it's first large online order enquiry on the first day of the site's launch.

    Working with N.A.P.S., telling their story in a way which would describe and encapsulate their value to customers, was a rewarding challenge and the results speak for themselves.

    Shortly after joining IUOE Local 115, it became clear the a complete ground-up rebuild of the website was needed.

    With a very broad message and demographic, with functionality and easy access and navigation key elements, I built the site over a period of 2 months. It included a simple online order placement store, complex forms, and large amount of content that needed to be written or edited. Integration into online multimedia (YouTube channels, digital publications) was also built into…

  • Integrated Marketing Campaign Proposal - EcoFreez

    As part of our capstone project for BCIT, our project team had to produce a full, integrated, strategic marketing communications plan and campaign for a Vancouver antifreeze recycler/manufacturer, named Eco-Freez. Our presentation won first place overall across the entire marketing school, BCIT's 2013 Industry Award and Bursary, and was adapted and utilized in the company's marketing campaigns for 2013.
