A forum for Senior Leaders, (Sr,V.P. V.P. Sr. Director & Director level leaders) in the Professional Sports Ticketing world. A place to grow our teams, share ideas and grow leadership leading to increased productivity, reduced conflict and staff turnover.

The idea for this group came from my interactions with some of the people I have met in the industry. One of the fundamental challenges I hear about is the lack of communications, but when I did a little deeper it is more about.... "the other person didn't hear what I was saying", or "trying to tel them".

Judith Glaser in "Communication Intelligence" states that 90% of all communications misses the mark!

Why is that? - To me it's about recognizing first how we tend to communicate and behave and then figuring out how others tend to communicate and behave. Once we have done that we can then learn how the other person receives information, how do they want to be communicated with? And just do it! #communication #softskills

    Lets start the conversation....

Over a period of twenty-three weeks in 2015-2016 I published a series of posts on Soft Skills: their development, the competencies they represent, and the importance soft skills have in the workplace (or life in general, for that matter).

The blog series I wrote generated a lot of interest, and over the course of it I had many very positive and thoughtful comments, some of which provided me with insight to write additional content. I was also very excited that this series on Soft Skills was also picked up by two other Blog sites, which in turn created significant interest.
I have finally gotten around to turning these posts into this book. I hope you enjoy it and if you feel moved to, write me back and let know your thoughts, ideas and maybe what you learned about yourself.
