MONDAY 📥 We’ll point you to 5 benefits of working with a business coach for your business : 1. Skill development and growth – No matter how long you've been in business, you're always learning, it is key to your development and your company’s success. A business coach helps you identify how you work, learn and relate with others. 2. Accountability - Accountability is massively vital to the success of your business. The objective of business coaching is to take you from point A to point B. A good coach challenges you to think broader, try new ideas, take risks, but they’ll also hold you accountable. 3. Enhanced clarity and vision – It is easy to get so familiar with working in your company hence barely focusing on the crucial things like vision. What are your visions and goals? It's important to look at historical data and set realistic goals. A business coach can help you achieve them. More importantly, they make sure your goals are realistic and on point, and that you are bringing your vision to life. 4. Improves performance and profitability - Leadership affects employee performance. Unfortunately, a demotivated team is more likely to produce substandard work which can affect client retention and eventually profitability. To be an effective leader you must understand your strengths, weaknesses, and what motivates you. Coaching is pivotal to self-development. 5. Outlines a clear roadmap – The guidance of an experienced business coach helps a business owner outline a clear roadmap to success and profitability hence results are guaranteed. Yes, coaching is a cycle, a process that is very critical for the progress of any professional.
𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝟭. 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 Like any critical business process, coaching follows a cycle. Companies (often HR staff or team leaders) can run simple and regular surveys to identify needs. From there, a need list/ranking can be generated. Then, depending on the budget/willingness to meet the coaching needs, a certain number of coaching hours per employee can be determined (budgeted). 𝟮. 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 Like any key business process, coaching follows a cycle. Once a coaching need is identified, there is a process of searching for a (or more) potential coach(es). To facilitate this process, there are tools/algorithms and staffing professionals that can help here. In the simplest form, the company qualifies a coaching pool whose size and skill set match the expected coaching needs and capacity. External coaching service providers can help. 𝟯. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 The chemistry check for coaching is critical for the success of the coaching experience. No chemistry means no coaching (and not bad coaching). If something bothers you (even if irrelevant), raise it after the call. The chemistry check can be repeated as many times as needed until the coachee feels well understood, the coach addresses their needs, and the coach is comfortable entering the coaching relationship. 𝟰. 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 During a predefined number of sessions, the coachee sets a few goals that they work on with the support of the selected coach. Depending on the nature and requirements of the coaching, these sessions can be weekly or monthly. 𝟱. 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Every coaching cycle comes to an end. A review or reflection shall occur after the defined number of sessions. Mutual feedback and possible things to work on after the coaching are highly appreciated from both ends. It is an occasion not to miss.
