What are effective ways to use lecturing for educational change in developing countries?
Maybe I’m looking at this question in a different way, but the power of a lecture is that it is easily recorded. A recorded lecture, a Ted Talk, an MIT prof… can be shared in many communities and the cost of a presenter/presentation then becomes affordable, even in small towns, and small schools. Other teaching practices are harder to share via video, but good video lectures, the teaching of good practice, can easily be recorded and shared broadly.
