How are you feeling on this World Mental Health Day? For me as a Mental Wellbeing Coach, every day is a World Mental Health Day, but many of my clients are too busy to be really aware of what is going on within. Like our physical health it is normal that our mental health also fluctuates, depending on the season, the environment, the stressors and our wellbeing habits. But everything starts with awareness. Where are you today? 💚 Healthy - Sleeping well, normal fluctuations in mood, full of energy, socially active 💛 Reacting - Nervous/irritable, low energy, trouble sleeping, procrastination 🧡 Injured - Anxiety, fatigue, decreased performance, social avoidance ❤️ Ill- Excessive anger/anxiety/depression, not able to sleep, exhaustion, isolation, not able to perform duties Actions to take: ❤️ Seek consultation with a health care provider, follow health care provider recommendations 🧡 Identify your stressors, talk with someone, seek social support 💛 Recognize your limits, get adequate rest, nutrition and exercise, and work out a plan to minimize stressors 💚 Maintain a healthy lifestyle, identify your values and how to align your day-to-day life to them, nurture your relationships #WorldMentalHealthDay, #MentalWellbeing #Awareness #PositivePsychology
