    SubsurfaceAI Inc is excited to announce our latest break through in #AI and #DeepLearning workflows for core analysis and reservoir characterization. In collaboration with Eni a novel artificial intelligence technique has been developed for predicting petrophysical properties and sedimentary structures directly from core photographs. The relationship between subsurfaceAI Inc. and Eni has culminated in the development of a workflow that allows for the detailed analysis of clastic reservoirs by extracting valuable insights from slabbed core photos, a resource that has been underutilized in the past. Initial testing on offshore wells in clastic reservoirs has shown remarkable success, demonstrating the methodologies’ ability to accurately predict petrophysical parameters. Concerning the interpretation of sedimentary structures deposited in a deep-water depositional setting, the methodology shows encouraging results, being able to recognize a good number of depositional features.   • SubsurfaceAI Inc is pleased to announce the release of 2024.2 to for the energy and energy transition industries. The past 7 months we have been focused on implementing workflows and data connections that will vastly speed up the workflows and improve the user experience. This is a major milestone for our software and shows our dedication to data connectivity for the use in our #AI and #machinelearning workflows. One of the major highlights of the release is the addition of a SeisWare International Inc. project import pipeline. This is our first iteration of the pipeline, and it includes the following data types to be moved from SeisWare to subsurfaceAI with one button-click. -Seismic data (2-D and 3-D surveys) -Well data (well header, well path, well tops, well zones, logs, and T-D curves) -2-D and 3-D horizon interpretations -Culture data Also, another exciting new announcement is the launch of a new product called coreAI. This utilizes AI for automatic interpretation of sedimentary facies, bedding structure types and rock types of core photos. It can also predict core plug measurements, such as grain size, porosity and permeability from core photos.
