  • We covered a lot of ground in 2024—literally! From coast to coast, our team connected with industry leaders, shared ideas, and learned a ton along the way. Ray asked us to map out our travels, and we think it’s a pretty great snapshot of an exciting year. Here’s to even more connections and conversations in 2025!

After a year filled with flights, hotel coffee, and many meeting rooms, I asked our marketing team to help me visualize just how much ground Lavvi covered in 2024. The result? This map - proof that we racked up some serious travel miles! Each dot represents a city where we connected with passionate leaders, shared insights, and explored new ways to help life insurance carriers better connect with their customers. From Whistler to Toronto, Chicago to Las Vegas, every stop was a reminder of the incredible energy and innovation driving this industry forward. To everyone who made this year so impactful: thank you. Here’s to continuing to build our momentum through more great conversations, collaborations, and (fingers crossed) fewer flight delays in 2025! Wishing you all a happy holiday season from everyone at Lavvi! 🎉

Last week, I attended the 2024 #CanadaSalesCongress in Toronto on behalf of Lavvi, and it did not disappoint! A big thank-you to the organizers and speakers for delivering such a great event.   Here are my top three takeaways from the day:   1️⃣ Canada’s population is booming, but insurance sales are falling. LIMRA Canada shared some sobering stats: - Our population has grown by over 6 million since 2010. - Meanwhile, new insurance policy sales have dropped by over 66,000 policies per year during the same time. 2️⃣ 70% of Canadians have never been approached by an insurance agent. That’s a staggering figure, and it highlights the growing uninsured and underinsured gap in our market. It’s clear we need to rethink how we reach customers and close this gap with smarter, more customer-centric approaches. 3️⃣ Trust and relationships are everything. Advisors need tools that help them feel confident when meeting with clients. It’s not just about the products—it’s about building lasting partnerships.   This event was a great reminder of the importance of collaboration and innovation in our industry. If you attended, I’d love to hear what stood out to you—drop your thoughts in the comments!   #CanadaSalesCongress #LifeInsurance #CustomerEngagement #Innovation

  • Lavvi HQ was buzzing last week! Over three exciting days, our entire team came together at the head office for face-to-face collaboration, idea-sharing, and the chance to connect in person! We also got into the holiday spirit, celebrating all the incredible work we’ve accomplished in 2024 and handing out some fresh new swag to mark Lavvi's brand refresh. The energy and ideas shared during this time will fuel us as we finish out the year strong and gear up for an even bigger 2025. Here’s to teamwork, creativity, and a little holiday cheer! #TeamLavvi #HolidayCelebrations #Lavvi2024

Most life insurance - 83 per cent - is purchased by individuals through an agent or advisor. (Source: CLHIA) With the majority of life insurance being sold through advisors, it’s clear how vital their role is in guiding customers through important financial decisions. For life insurance carriers, creating a modern, seamless experience for advisors is critical. When advisors have the right tools, they can focus on what matters most—building trust, delivering personalized service, and ensuring their clients feel confident in their choices. A streamlined platform can help them serve clients more efficiently, adjust to market changes faster, and ultimately deliver a better customer experience. As the insurance landscape evolves, carriers need to support advisors with technology that helps them thrive. #LifeInsurance #CustomerExperience #AdvisorSupport #InsurTech
