The most user-friendly & supper-fast daycare application; connects parents to directors, educators & children.

About us

The vision of the KidiHealth team is to make every daycare an extension of the child’s home and create collaborative circles of parents, dedicated daycare staff and healthcare professionals around every child so they can reach their full potential. While existing solutions attempt to automate some administrative tasks, our cloud-based platform provides a single, easy to access place to manage daycare activities, automate government forms & compliance tasks, inform parents, and refer children to healthcare specialists when they need it most. This is a transformational change, not only making daycares more efficient but also helping them grow. Core Cloud Software Platform: Our core product is a self-serve online platform that daycare administrators can use to manage their business, including automatically filling out required government forms. The platform empowers daycare staff to report and plan childcare activities, and communicate with parents via an easy to use mobile app. Early Child Needs Assessment & Referral: Our first module, extending platform and daycare capabilities, is our early needs assessment referral tool, allowing daycare staff to refer children to pediatric specialists in speech, psychotherapy, nutrition, and health from our network.

  • To instantly feel better, you can try a few things depending on what suits your current situation: 1. **Take a deep breath:** Deep breathing can help calm your mind and body, reducing stress and promoting relaxation. 2. **Practice gratitude:** Take a moment to think about things you're grateful for. This can shift your focus to positive aspects of your life. 3. **Move your body:** Physical activity, even a short walk, can boost your mood by releasing endorphins, the feel-good hormones. 4. **Listen to music:** Listening to your favorite music can uplift your spirits and improve your mood almost instantly. 5. **Connect with a friend:** Reach out to someone you trust for a chat or a hug. Social connection can improve your emotional well-being. 6. **Practice mindfulness:** Paying attention to the present moment without judgment can help you feel more grounded and reduce negative emotions. 7. **Do something you enjoy:** Engage in a hobby or activity that brings you joy, whether it's reading, painting, or playing a musical instrument. 8. **Get some sunlight:** Sunlight can boost your mood and improve your sense of well-being. If possible, spend some time outdoors. 9. **Take a break:** Sometimes, simply stepping away from a stressful situation for a few minutes can help you feel better. 10. **Laugh:** Watch a funny video, read a joke, or reminisce about a funny memory. Laughter can be a great mood lifter. #kidihealth #management #daycarestaff #parents

  • Pediatric glaucoma accounts for 10.8% of visual impairment in children and congenital glaucoma accounts for 4.2% of childhood blindness. The visual prognosis of these patients depends on the timing of presentation and treatment. Delay in presentation, diagnosis, and management can lead to devastating visual outcomes. The delayed presentation is mainly due to a lack of awareness of the disease among caregivers and clinicians. It is essential for healthcare policy, especially in developing countries or low-resource regions, to implement educational efforts to improve caregivers’ awareness regarding the need for early intervention for PCG and to ensure the early detection of the disease. https://lnkd.in/ehtUG6d3 #kidihealth #glaucomaawareness #worldglaucomweek #earlydetection #earlyscreening

  • Investments in school employee wellness can reduce school system costs, foster positive working conditions, and improve outcomes for students. However, traditional approaches to wellness are often limited to physical and mental health and frequently focus exclusively on teachers, which limits the potential of school system investments to promote equitable and sustainable wellness for all school employees. Child Trends has released a new toolkit that school systems can use to ensure that all employees experience wellness at work. Development of the toolkit was funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. #kidihealth #school #schoolleadership #schoolmanagement

  • January is Glaucoma Awareness Month. Over 60 million people have Glaucoma worldwide. The second leading cause of blindeness in the world. The silent thief of sight. Pediatric glaucoma (PG), also referred to as “childhood glaucoma” or “congenital glaucoma”, covers a heterogeneous array of diseases. It is characterized by ocular structural damage and visual impairment associated with increased intraocular pressure (IOP). Pediatric glaucoma can lead to irreversible blindness and bring emotional or psychological burdens to patients’ caregivers. PG has various presentations and subtle symptoms, making the diagnosis difficult. A high index of suspicion by pediatricians or family physicians and prompt referral to an ophthalmologist for a full ophthalmic examination is essential in the timely diagnosis of pediatric glaucoma. Babies with glaucoma may have: - large eyes - a dull or cloudy eye - tears when not crying - redness in the sclera (the white part of the eye) - sensitivity to light - a lot of blinking Older children and teens may have: - blurry vision - nearsightedness that gets worse - trouble seeing things off to the side - headaches A child also can have glaucoma with no symptoms. That's why it's important for kids to have regular eye exams as they grow up. #kidihealth #kidshealth #glaucomaawareness #parents
