Today, we're celebrating one of our own. Mike, who served 44 years in the U.S. Coast Guard, is one of many Veterans at Enbridge—a maritime operations specialist who guides our Enbridge Straits Maritime Operations Center (ESMOC) team, monitoring shipping traffic 24/7 in the Straits of Mackinac.

Yahya, a student at the University of Alberta, shares his enriching experience as an intern at Enbridge. He shares that his journey at Enbridge has been nothing short of rewarding, providing him with invaluable project management skills and a deep appreciation for safety and reliability in operations. He praises his manager for being a great mentor and facilitating opportunities to explore various aspects of the company's operations. "I feel like I'm a lot more free to explore areas that I want to pursue. My manager has been super nice and open, asking me what I wanted to explore and facilitating a lot of that. He's been a great mentor." For students considering an internship at Enbridge, Yahya's advice is simple: "Do it."
