Explicó que en México este recurso alimenta cerca del 60% de las plantas de ciclo combinado, lo que garantiza un suministro energético más limpio y seguro. Además, señaló que la demanda de gas natural tiene una proyección de crecimiento significativo hacia 2037, posicionándolo como un insumo estratégico para el desarrollo energético. También enfatizó que América del Norte cuenta con cerca de 5 millones de kilómetros de gasoductos, formando uno de los mercados energéticos más dinámicos e interconectados a nivel mundial. En este contexto, resaltó la posición geográfica privilegiada de México, que le permite exportar gas natural licuado desde ambas costas, accediendo tanto a mercados europeos como asiáticos. During the West Virginia Legislature's interim meetings this week TC Energy's Director of Natural Gas Storage, Garrett Word had the opportunity to present on the fundamentals of natural gas storage, and the role that the state plays in TC's operational success. Fun fact, natural gas storage is an essential part of the industry that ensures: 1. a steady demand = keeping natural gas consumers warm when they need it most. 2. price stabilization = the pricing of natural gas doesn't skyrocket in the winter months when demand increases. Thank goodness for natural gas storage!

This morning, we released our third-quarter results, demonstrating the headway we are making on our 2024 priorities, including: Our Southeast Gateway pipeline project in Mexico, is tracking on time and under budget, contributing to overall lower estimated 2024 capital expenditures. We completed the successful spinoff of our Liquids Pipelines business into South Bow Corporation, enabling us to maximize the value of our assets. The CER approved the NGTL System five-year negotiated revenue requirement settlement starting Jan. 1, 2025. As we close out the remainder of the year, we are on track to achieve our debt-to-EBITDA target of 4.75x. Our focus remains clear and we will continue executing on our strategic priorities.
